No, this teapot does not come with an infuser. Here's a link to a tea strainer that fits the top of this tea pot perfectly. Just fill the pot with hot water, fill the strainer with tea, set in the top of the tea pot. This is how I brew with this pot. What is the manufactyurers warranty? Amazon says "Please contact the seller directly for warranty information."

i don't remember i have te tea pot for over a year and i loved it since i can put it in micro also.

Is this teapot oven safe?

Wouldn’t think so. I think teapots are only designed to withstand the temperature of boiling water.

Is this actually porcelain or is it stoneware?

"Old Amsterdam Porcelain Works" is printed on the bottom of this teapot. Amazon's description says ceramic material. To me, this looks like a high grade stoneware teapot BUT it could be a procelain teapot. Maybe Old Amsterdam makes both kinds in teapots. I have fine procelain teapots and when I compare them to this teapot it looks like stoneware to me but I am no expert.
