ATTITUDE Mineral Sunscreen with Zinc Oxide, SPF 30, EWG Verified, Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB Protection, Dermatologically Tested, Vegan, Unscented, 5.2 Ounces

So glad to have found this sunscreen that is acne safe, EWG certified, and has a matte finish on my skin. Acne safe: I have been using this on my face daily for 5 months without it triggering any breakouts. Matte finish: initially it has a very white cast and seems like it isn’t moist enough to rub in. But if I just pat and rub it in a little, it will blend into light skin with olive undertone, leaving a matte finish that doesn’t turn oily or look too moisturized during the day, even if I’m sweating.

This works great along with the face stick. It seems to last a long time and it's the only sunscreen I've found that doesn't give me a headache. It does leave a white residue especially on my hairy arms, but I will take they any day over a sunburn or headache from other products.

If you like sunscreen that goes on thick and sticky that dries down to a chalky, uncomfortable dusty looking coating that does not seem to absorb at all then this is the sunscreen for you. For me, it’s been demoted to yardwork and gardening sunscreen until it’s gone bc it makes me look like a sticky ghastly ghoul with a hoe. In my gloved pic I waited 10-15 mins before swiping my leg twice with the glove using moderate/light pressure. This stuff sits on top of your skin, which is uncomfortable with skin-on-skin contact like legs and arms. Maybe it’s designed to sit on top, I don’t know. I just know that I don’t love it. My husband doesn’t mind it. I’m a sensitive sensory type that can’t stand scratchy tags, stickiness, seams, loud, bright, etc so if you’re sensory like me I encourage you to skip this one.

I have papulopustular Rosacea and allergic contact dermatitis. I must wear sunscreen on my entire body on a daily basis. I appreciate that this product is truly fragrance free and doesn't contain any other Balsam of Peru allergens like Aloe and other plant derived oils, butters, tree products, and other plant/tree ingredients that are allergens for BoP allergy sufferers. This sunscreen leaves a very noticeable white cast, even if you rub it in for several minutes. I am very fair skinned and it is still very noticeable. It takes at least an hour to dry enough so that you can comfortably wear clothing. It never actually fully dries and skin will feel tacky through the entire day. I will say that I did not have any skin rashes or rosacea breakouts from this suncream and it actually was soothing on my ultra painful Rosacea face. However, it was very difficult to apply to my ultra painful face bc the cream is so thick and havy and requires extensive rubbing in. If I can't comfortably wear it on a daily basis and if it makes my pale face look white, then this is not the product for me. I'm so disappointed. It's so difficult to find products that are truly BoP free.

This is really nice mineral sunscreen (clean ingredients, unscented) but there's jsut no such thing as mineral sunscreen from a bottle that doesn't give a whitecast. Unless you're applying in pea size increments all over your body (who has time for that) it never fully spreads out from the spot you apply it to. I did however also purchase the Altitude stick which I'm loving! The nature of the stick allows you to easily spread a thin layer all over, that actually can be rubbed in for minimal white cast.

From my daughter - I loved that this product is EWG certified. I have used it twice so far now, and personally did not need to reapply after 3 hours and being in/out of water. It is very thick and will leave a white cast if it’s not rubbed in completely, I use a spray bottle to moisten my skin first before rubbing in the lotion. The first time I used I was very thorough in my application, to the point it felt like a workout (being pregnant lol), but didn’t rub it in as much the second time and the white case was pretty noticeable. You definitely want to rub it in completely when first applied.

I purchased this over a year ago and hope they have changed the quality and composition of the cream: I can only give this three stars for several reasons: Pros: Has no toxic chemicals, hypo-allergenic, fragrance free, (go to the EWG website, which is where I went to find this product.) Cons: the consistency is terrible. I usually apply my face lotions and then sunblock and then makeup. I allow each time to absorb. But, this sunscreen does not blend so you have white patches all over your face. Then, it becomes so sticky and "tacky" that you can't apply any foundation on! It is miserable. It feels AWFUL on your skin and makes your hairline oily too. I tried using this on my arms and legs and same problem. It does not blend. I will not order again.

Great sunscreen! It feels good to put something non toxic on my face. The only downside is you need to really rub it in otherwise you look a little ghostly, lol

This sunscreen is thick and not the best to apply but I have followed the suggestion of Kailey Dunlop (a reviewer) to mix it with your moisturizer. I put a dab of sunscreen on the back of my hand, add 1 drop of argan oil and it mixes beautifully and spreads easily. It makes your skin look lovely and any white residue vanishes in a few seconds. I don't know if it diminishes the effect of the sunscreen but one can't go wrong with argan oil and the sunscreen is still there. I believe that the thickness of the sunscreen is an indicator that it protects well. I like Attitude products and it's Canadian.

I’ve been really impressed with this sunscreen. It goes on smoothly, provides excellent protection, and most importantly, it uses clean mineral ingredients that I feel good about putting on my skin and my family’s. Unlike some mineral sunscreens, it rubs in fairly well without leaving a heavy white cast, especially after a few minutes. It’s fragrance-free, non-irritating, and feels lightweight even during long days outside. I also appreciate that it’s reef-safe and eco-friendly — a big plus for summer trips and beach days. This is now my go-to sunscreen, and I’ll definitely repurchase. Highly recommend for anyone looking for safe and effective sun protection.

It's good but like many mineral sunscreens, it makes your face very white- had to add almond oil to get rid of the pasty white look

Works well. Reason for only 3 stars is its harder than other sunscreens to mix on to skin and it will leave a hint of white residue (that i dabble off with a towel and all gone)
