I am completely new to piano and was nervous to start. Since I have no teacher and am studying alone I was hesitant to start. But with this course coming with videos and clearly illustrated instructions, I took it slow and did my very best to understand the information coming my way. And when I was not sure what to do on something, I pulled up the video segments. Those are the most helpful tools to learn and I am pleased to say I am getting better. If I didn’t buy this book I would be so lost because it teaches everything from scales and cords to teaching me what notes are what and how to read music notes. I am definitely buying the second book.

As a beginner, I found this book to be an excellent resource. I strongly recommend learning with a structured book instead of relying only on apps. The supporting videos for each topic are a great addition and help reinforce the concepts and techniques taught in the lessons.

I've been away from the piano from 30 years. The authors make learning/ Relearning so easy and fun! Good classical pieces you learn from. Highly recommend this! Book 2 will be next!

Good start... it gives you a lot of good basics and more.

I’m new to approaching piano via chords and brief treble notation, these are study guides for me. Very thorough with reviews along the way. A guitar player would possibly like this. Spiral binding is so great.

I returned this. I found the music can be read on my iPad. It is less expensive and keeps the music all in one place. Easy to get started with even if you have not played for years.

Wonderful and easy to follow instructions. I took piano as a kid and hated it! I am now 57 and for the last few years have been wishing I knew how to play. My 10 year-old niece started piano last year and I decided to try again but I had no idea where to start. Then I found this book. I have already advanced greatly in just a few weeks. I love practicing and I try to get at least two hours a day. One of the things I like about the book are the videos that correspond to the piece you are playing. This is very helpful. Like having a teacher sitting with you. If you are on the fence about the purchase just do it! I also recommend the physical book since there are work sheets which would be impossible to do with kindle. Very happy customer 🥰

It's a little book but you can understand the basics. I strongly advise for producers who want to learn how to play a little the midi keyboard.

Loce it. I know zero of piano. It's easily explain but not to childish. Enough to challenge but not frustrat you. I'm loving it. But take in consideration it take time, and it's very exhausting to play. It looks like a sport XD BTW, even if you don't know most of the songs, you can try to guess and then check online to see if your guess was correct (all songs have a QR code to see the example). It worth it's value. Perfect first book.

I love this book. It starts with the basics and guides you through. I am a beginner and can say I enjoy using this book.

Much better than Alfred if you are classical focused.
