Bargain-Worth the money
Neat and efficient smaller microwave but big enough to deal with family of 4 needs. Smaller foot print leaving more space on worktop and easy to use .Recommended quality machine. Excellent value as "used like new" - not even taken out of new packaging! Bargain !!!!

quality not up to standard
product fine until recently when inner coating beneath plate started peeling badly, despite being cleaned and dried after each use. It is almost exactly two years since this item was purchased. my last microwave oven lasted 27 years!!

Peace
The TOSHIBA 20L 800W microwave is compact, efficient, and easy to use. Its digital controls are straightforward, and the 800W power heats food evenly and quickly. The 20-liter capacity is perfect for small kitchens, singles, or couples, while still fitting standard plates and bowls. It’s quiet in operation, easy to clean, and looks sleek on the countertop. A great value choice if you want a reliable, no-fuss microwave for everyday use.

Easy to use
Bought this to replace my previous one which was a combi with way more features than I ever used. Still wanted a digital one, but more basic and this seemed a good price. Really pleased with it. Smaller footprint than one I had, but still takes a full sized dinner plate. One press timing for whole minutes 1-9, plus a 30 second button. Useful kitchen timer button.

Curate's Egg
It's small, very small, neat, attractive and it does the job. I like the versatility of it's settings very much. Great for cooking my porridge in stages. But having come from a 30yr old microwave which I now realise was huge.... I now wish I'd spent more and got something more substantial, less toy-like and easier to use. For starters, there's a 2 x 4inch panel that holds 24 rectangular switches under a shiny surface without a pip in sight, so you have to be precise in where you press and then make sure you press quite hard. For anyone old and a bit decrepit with failing eyesight like me, ie who can't read the switch labels without their reading glasses, this is always something of a faff. Next comes the The Opening. This microwave doesn't have a handle with which to open the door. Oh no. This is achieved by ramming an arthritic thumb deep into it's interior and then a bit deeper still until the door suddenly springs open with a vengeance and then bounces back again off it's hinges, so be very careful if in your other hand you're holding anything liquid ready to 'just pop into' the microwave. If the opening press-button was in the left hand corner things would be so much easier and less of a 2 handed faff every time you go to microwave something. Which brings me to the closing of the door and what was originally my pet peeve. You can't close the door quietly however carefully you try. There is an almighty thwack and clang every time that belies it's small size. So forget any secret late night microwaving because you'll wake the household. After some prodding and poking I discovered that the front switch panel on mine wasn't secured at the base to the main body of the unit, and after tightening this up by ramming a sliver of debit card into the gap, and sticking a couple of Sticky Fixer pads to the inside corners of the door, the door now shuts with less of a rattly clang and more of a satisfying, albeit loud, thud. Something else that made me tut and which I haven't seen anyone else mention is the mains lead. It's black. On this little pure white microwave that goes well with my other white kitchen appliances and my white paintwork and white power sockets on the worktop wall they've put a great big thick black cable and plug! Madness if you ask me. I'm still giving it 5 stars though. But next time I'll get one with a door handle.
