English Literature (Barron's Easy 101 Study Keys)

This is concise. Includes historical info. Doesn't talk down to you even though it's brief. Very well done to cover so much in such a small book. Great study guide. I'm using it to study for teacher's licensing exam. So glad I found it - covers literature/historical context better than the all-in-one exam guide I found at the library.

I used this book to study for the English literature CLEP exam. I read it probably three times before the exam date. Of course I used other study materials too, but this book helped me pass with a very high score. It includes all of the important authors and their works. Very, very few excerpts from the actual works, so be sure to look those up if your intention is to pass a big test like the CLEP.

Used this to brush up for the CSETs and it helped a lot. Good information to get you started on your studying.

Very good and useful for studying for a comprehensive exam. I used it to prepare for the English Literature CLEP exam and I passed. I'mean currently using it to help me prepare for the ELAR Texes exam.

I love how this little book contains so much to help put the literature pieces together.

Great study tool for teacher certification test and study tool for English students.

I ordered this book based on other reviews. It is smaller than I had expected but does provide a summary of authors and styles. I am using this book to study for the Praxis II exam in English and Literature Content. Would like to have it be more substantial but am fairly happy with this item.

Great for the CLEP ! Used this book and InstaCert and was able to pass the exam in the first attempt !
