This is a worldwide 110-220vac input charger. I bought this for my trip to Italy, works without the need of a voltage converter, just use a plug adaptor

The power charger that comes with the Oral B electric toothbrush bought in the US, can only be used in North America on 110 AC unless you have a transformer. For traveling in either Europe or the US, this adapter will charge specific makes of Oral B electric toothbrushes. You will still need a plug adapter for Europe, but you won’t need a transformer to convert between AC current (US) and DC current (Europe). The travel adapter is rated 50-60hz and 100-220v.

I'm sitting here in Greece looking at the bubble/discoloration on the top of my charger base and no longer works. I plugged it in when I first arrived and it worked, but now it's no longer working even though it's rating is for 110-240v. I even used a power converter for my other electronics but didn't protect this base charger. Disappointing.

Things are getting expensive for some reason, so I will have to put a pause on any Amazon purchases. I am sorry because you have a good product.

The charger that came with our Oral B toothbrushes would only use 110v to 120v. Since we travel overseas regularly we found that usually our hotel would have a 110v outlet in the bathroom for "shavers". The last trip we took only 1 hotel had a working 110v outlet so by the end of our trip our tootbrushes were dead. We bought this charger because it can run from 110v to 240v so we will not have the same problem on future trips.

It works and is dual voltage rated, so that's good. Downside is it is much lighter weight than the factory charger - doesn't seem to have as much sealant in the base - so it slides around very easily. The product description claims "IP67 grade" but is not IP67 rated. A good choice for a second or travel charger base if you take care of it.

This product is rated to work on 110-240VAC (practically works fine with 100VAC in Japan as well), which covers practically the whole world. The compact design with a small footprint makes it easy to put in a suitcase. The plug is for the US standard (compatible with Japan's and the Philippines'), but many high-grade hotels around the world do have a US-compatible AC outlet in the bathroom vanity area "for shaver only," which is perfect for this. I, however, would still recommend carrying a plug adapter like https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N59M473 and a short US extension cord for good preparation. BTW, the toothbrush body itself has a battery inside and it is probably illegal to put it in airline check-in luggage. Happy traveling!
