Over all, I am very happy with this. I didnt realize it was a light roast until after I received it. My fault, it did say that it was light roast in the listing. It's still delicious and cheaper than what I pay for folgers in the grocery store. I would order from this seller again, maybe the italian roast next time.

My kid was recommended this coffee through an online forum. He bought it for me for Christmas, thinking it must be fancy since it seemed pricey. When he got the bag, he realized how huge it is. That Christmas is a fun memory for us - me wondering what is in that large package; him knowing I’ll be shocked it’s a bag of coffee. Usually, we move on from Christmas gifts and continue with familiar products. But this coffee quickly became the favorite of the entire household for our cold brew drinks. Here’s our favorite drink: 1-1/2 cups ground coffee put in a stainless steel cold brew tube (purchased on Amz) which is set into a half gallon glass jar. Fill with water and allow to steep at room temp for 24 hours, then filter, fill to the top with water and refrigerate. We then make our drinks by the glassful - one part refrigerated brew to one part chocolate almond milk + a few ice cubes. Adjust to taste preference. Sometimes I use almond or cashew milk instead, and sometimes we add chocolate syrup.

I like this coffee. It helps me get started each morning.

I'm spoiled for coffee now. I love this coffee, we get the whole bean City Roast Brazilian Santos, and use a burr grinder and pour over to get a perfectly smooth and delicious cup of coffee. I am routinely disappointed by coffee out and about or on the rare occasions when I have to buy a substitute. Nothing quite stacks up. 😅

Order whole beans that I thought would be a dark roast , came with full city roast label, definitely darker than a medium roast but not really a dark roast. The beans were dull, no oil roasted out, aroma is small and taste is fine, average drip pot whole bean coffee, better than supermarket preground cans. I mixed in other dark roasted coffee beans I have to boost the body and flavor of the coffee. I will try something different next time.

I recently purchased this coffee, expecting a quality city roast. Unfortunately, it turned out to be more like a stain roast—dark and lacking the nuanced flavors I look for in a good cup of coffee. The taste was reminiscent of what you'd get from a convenience store, not what I expect for the cost. If you enjoy robust and somewhat flat flavors, this might be for you. But if you’re looking for a genuine city roast experience, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

I bought a new coffee machine and I thought is time to buy a new coffee brand and because in all the grocery stores they have just Colombian coffee, I decided to try the Brazilian one. Wow! What a difference. I love it!
