After a break in I had to do something to deter future robberies. This lock gives you the ability to also back it up with a pad lock. Having 2 levels of security has me at ease. Its very easy to use/install and heavy duty.

Used this on a U-Haul truck and it worked fine. Using this device does not interfere with using a padlock on the normal door locking mechanism so we used both. I felt it provided a significant additional level of security beyond the padlock but, of course. thieves probably can defeat it although I suspect it might be simpler to just be cutting into the truck wall if one wanted to be so determined to steal from the truck.

I am an engineer, so I go overboard on things at times because I want more than the very best and I want more security than usual, especially for this move in a 26' Uhaul truck. I bought this FOR 1 MOVING TRIP FROM FLORIDA TO TEXAS FEBRUARY 2021. I was carrying all of my belongings which included a load of firearms, a mountain of ammunition, and a lot of precious metals that I wont mention here, but enough that I could not carry them into the hotel at night. I bought it brand new and was skeptical at first, but after installing it, I knew NO ONE could break into my Uhaul while traveling 3 days and nights staying at hotels. This lock is ultra heavy duty, solid and will not break - PERIOD! The truck will break first and in fact, the entire truck could be obliterated and the only thing left still working would be this lock. It is that heavy duty. It will last a lifetime if you need one permanently and travel with important items. Fits all Uhaul Trucks as they have WHITING Brand Door Hardware. Also fits all TODCO Brand Door Hardware.

Easy to install and gave us extra security for our box truck

I bought this last year to lock my work truck during the night. I haven't had a single person try to break in to the truck since I installed it. This thing would make it really hard/near impossible to break in to any truck

Had a lock cut off and thousands of dollars ($60k+) of tools stolen by scumbags! They did it while the alarm was going off! No lock is perfect, but, it's going to take a lot of time and noise to break-in now. Whish I had purchased this prior to losing so much. I even knew about it, but kept putting it off! 🤬 Don't be like me, if your looking at this you obviously need it!

I used it on a roll up truck door. Works like a charm

I bought this for my cube van rear roll up door. It’s definitely heavy duty. However the part I don’t really like is that, you still need a heavy duty pad lock that can’t be easily cut from bolt cutters. If you have a cheap lock or A lock that can be cut off, you can simply just slide this lock right off the handles. I say this because I tried it. For that reason I gave this product 3 stars. So make sure to buy a heavy duty pad lock if you get this product.

It’s possible to open the door with the lock on, the left side base , is not long enough.

The latch still opens with the lock put in place if you try hard enough. This is just a visual deterrent at best
