Gel Cork Handlebar Tape

Ticks in all of the boxes for this Cinelli tape. Super-streachy with some self adhesive coating on the inside makes it really easy to fit for a professional looking result. The textured cork outer surface is soft and grippy with an attractive matt finish, I chose the white colour option with no signs of surface wear or discolouration after a few 60 mile rides. The tape doesn't appear to delaminate when peeled back for cable maintenance, some expensive tapes suffer from this as well as top surface wear at the hoods from gloves, no such issues with the product

I like this tape. Well cushioned and very comfortable. I additionally liked the two extra strips of cork, which I think are intended to cover the brake's handlebar clamp, but I instead placed them over the top of the handlebar where the brakes begin and where my wrists often sit. The tape was long enough for me to densely wrap the tops of the handlebars for added comfort (I don't do the drops very often). The finishing off tape could have been a little longer and stickier, but that's my only complaint. Will buy again.

Have tried many far more expensive bar tapes, but for the price this takes some beating. Used this tape to ride the Flanders sportive in the pouring rain and stood up to the task well. Fairly good grip, reasonably comfortable and good to wrap (and re-wrap). Finishing tape is decent enough, but not quite as grippy as the main tape. Overall a very good tape for the price that I'd recommend for most applications.

Reasonable length. Awful adhesive quality of bar tape and non existent adhesion of finishing tape. In addition, there is little cushioning quality to the handlebar. Save your money.......

The best thing about this wrap is how easy it is to apply. I actually used one set to wrap a chin up bar and another to do a handlebar. The wrap is reasonably stretchy (so it curves around corners easily) and has a tacky central strip down the backside. The strip isn't 'sticky' per say, but is extremely grippy and holds in place as you wrap. I much prefer this to an adhesive strip as it allows you to very easily re-position or tighten the wrap if you make a slight mistake. The supplied adhesive tape used to bind the ends of the wrap is a *little* short for my liking. In addition to using the provided strip I used a fair amount of black electrical tape to finish the job. The finished wrap is relatively thin and doesn't add to much bulk to the original bar but it strikes the right balance by providing just the right amount of cushioning. Finally, after some heavy duty use none of the wraps have moved or come undone or show signs of wear. This is one wrap I'd definitely recommended.

I bought this to replace some garbage bar tape that went straight in the bin. It was like night and day. This tape was a good price for something that fits well and wears well. There is no point in trying to save a few pounds getting something cheaper. This tape is ideal.

Very comfy, I especially like the rough surface finish, super grippy and shock-absorbing. The gel on the back prevents it from slipping during installation as well

I've been impressed with this bar tape. For reasonably priced tape, it is easy to install, looks and feels great, and has held up really well for the last several months. I really appreciate that it's got a grippy strip on the backside rather than a full adhesive so it's easy to redo if you make a mistake or if you've got a complicated wrap, and I haven't had any trouble with it slipping out of place once installed. They supply you with plenty of tape for most handle bars (I was able to fully wrap a set of corner bars without cutting any tape off). The bar end plugs aren't anything special, but they at least stay in place well. I think this will probably be my go to everyday bar tape for future bikes.

I've use this before, its light and has a good grip and feel. Very comfortable and wide range of colors.

Einfach zu wickeln, Länge ausreichend und komfortabel. Der Klebestreifen auf der Rückseite haftet nicht besonders gut, was aber bei richtiger Wicklung keine negativen Auswirkungen hat, es ist trotzdem rutschfest. Dafür bekommt man das Band bei Änderungen am Lenker auch wieder vernünftig und intakt ab und kann neu wickeln.
