RotopaX RX-SP-Vent Self-Venting Spout Kit

Apparently this is a must have to fill your diesel on a Ram truck. The standard fuel spout on a Europa does not insert far enough to allow flow and diesel just overflows the filler neck.

Much better than the spout that comes with any rotopax . I've had every valve to type break before I'd every got to use them. This spout is what should come with every rotopax for the money they charge this should be standard

The gasket on the first compressed to the point of leaking. Rotopax does not just sell the gasket so I had to order the whole assembly. If rotopax would sell just a cap, I would buy that and just use a funnel but they do not appear to sell a solid cap and other brands do not fit.

I do a lot of Jeeping and sometimes those trips are multi day long trips. I purchased a rotopax to carry some extra fuel, but the stock filler nozzle that comes with them are horrible. This is the perfect replacement nozzle. While it says it is for water, it works perfect for gas also. I used it twice in the last month and it pours the gas into the Jeep perfectly. Pours fast with no leakage. If you have a rotopax, you need this to replace the horribly designed spout that comes with them.

It would be 5 stars. It works much better than the original, so called "ECO" / EPA and CARB compliant spout, that comes with RotopaX fuel cans. Unfortunately, the "rubber" gasket supplied with this spout is made of some rigid plastic material (PVC?) instead of an actual rubber, and it doesn't seal well. The original gasket is a bit thicker and much more flexible. You can transfer the original gasket to the new spout, but it puzzles me why the manufacturer switched to lower quality gaskets...

Only used these once so far but man what a difference! No spill, no mess, no frustration. I used the original gaskets from the original spouts so no idea if there is an issue with these gaskets. Highly recommend.

This spout is absolutely awesome compared to those modern eco-spouts. I purchased this for my Kolpin Fuel Pack. To be honest, it's not a perfect fit because the seal is slightly smaller in diameter than the original spout which means that it can become off center when I am tightening down the threaded cap. However, if I am just careful about it I have no trouble centering it up & tightening the cap down so it does not leak. But, what do you expect when it's designed for a different brand right?... The reason I bought it is because the original cap for the Kolpin model has this red cover made of VERY thin plastic that will obviously puncture if anything ever bumps it. This replacement spout has a yellow plug that is much more heavy duty & I have a lot more faith that it won't ever fail out on the trail & leak my gas all over the place. The fact that this spout is also flexible, self venting, & not one of those pain in the butt eco-spouts is also a great feature.

I irdered the roto pax gas spouts..they are no diffrent from a regulargas tank spout.. paid lots for garbage

These spouts may be marked as Rotopax but they're just your run-of-the-mill basic vented spouts. They didn't fit my 1.5 gal Rotopax. There is an insert in the pack that kind of filters and these spouts are too long. So I cut them to see how they would work... and they don't seal. The rubber gasket on these yellow spouts are slightly smaller than the no drip spouts that come with the packs. I tested them and they leaked. Since I had cut them and they ended up being useless, I threw them out. I wasted my money on this.

A much better alternative than the standard spouts which can be somewhat awkward/annoying to utilize. Recommended.
