BEST, Sturdy, Safe ride, Easy Install
I did about an hr research on the mirrors for my Electra Townie. I wanted something easy to install, sturdy so it’ll stay in place without much fuss and what brings me safety on the road. After considering size, sturdiness, shape of glass, no reflection on the mirror, adjustment angles and the arm length to fit my bike, enabling me to truly see what’s behind me, this mirror was the one. I got it today, installed it super fast and it fits beautifully. It makes the rides much safer and eliminates a lot of twisting and turning on my part to get feedback in the traffic behind me. I am super satisfied. My bike feels much safer and it gives a sensation of a well equipped ride. The first thing what came to my mind after trying them out was how could I ride without them up until now?? Haha I am glad I took the time researching and picked this one. Got one for each sides. I highly recommend it!

Best Mirror Ever
This mirror is fantastic compared to the one it replaced. I am so glad I took a chance and bought the Meachow. My prior mirror – a 10-inch flexible arm type with (I’m guessing) a typical amount of convexity -- made it difficult to safely use for the following two reasons. (1) vehicles approaching from behind, because of the mirror’s convexity, were difficult to clearly see until they were within 50 feet and (2) the mirror vibrated so much, because of the arm’s flexibility, that I had to use my hand to steady the mirror to be able to clearly see what was behind. This Meachow mirror solved both problems making my daily 15-mile rides much safer. First, the convexity of the Meachow is less than what I believe is typical convexity so that I am able to clearly see vehicles as they approach within, I will say, 200 feet. Secondly, the Meachow’s rigid stem construction completely eliminated mirror vibration so I no longer use my hand to steady it. Mounting the mirror on my 22 mm handlebar was extremely easy, taking less than five minutes. It has a full range of adjustments that once I made them have remained steadfast.

Well-made, sturdy, side mirror for bicycles, but make sure it's what you want
This feels sturdy and solid, and the mirror is generously wide. It also has a lot of degrees of freedom for adjustment to your comfort. However, make sure it really is what you want before you buy it. 1. Like any handlebar-mounted mirror, it turns with your handlebars. If you're not used to this, it can make it difficult to use. You have to be riding straight in order for it to work. Even if you're used to a motorcycle, you may find it troublesome. Bicycles handlebars turn a lot more frequently and sharply. 2. You need an exposed gap of small tubing in the right spot. My Brompton has one, my road bike does not (the tubing is too thick where exposed and I use wrapping everywhere else). This unit will NOT mount on anything but the thinnest tubing. 3. Once mounted it is meant to be tightened in position and kept that way. There are no latches or quick adjustments. Everything must be done by hex wrench. All those degrees of freedom are meant to be locked down and rarely adjusted or tightened. Although I could mount the unit on my Brompton, it could not be left extended when the bike is folded. It has to be compactified for folding and then redeployed when unfolded. This requires a hex-wrench and adjustment each time, more than doubling the time it takes to fold and unfold the bicycle, and basically rendering it untenable. If none of these are issues for you, I highly recommend the unit (I say this nonsarcastically). It's hefty, solid, and I wish it worked for me.

I was finally able to fit a mirror to my Trek handlebar
The way my Trek handlebar is made, it has been difficult to mount a mirror to it. I was using a glasses-mounted mirror that I wire-tied to my helmet, but it required fiddly adjusting every time. It had to be adjusted while riding, which is rather dangerous for me at age 75. Plus, I really prefer a fixed mirror instead of having to turn and/or tilt my head. I tried some other handlebar mirrors, but I could not make them work. They would all block or get blocked by the shifter, brake lever or the bar end. I point my bar ends up so I can ride in a more upright position. This Meachow mirror has just enough reach that I can mount it to the right of my left handlebar grip and yet still see past everything including my arm. When I first got it, I was disappointed that it has a wide-angle mirror where I thought I read it was flat. No matter, the effect is mild enough that I don’t mind it at all. The image quality is very good as is the build quality. I’m happy again!

Great visuals on this mirror
I ordered this to get me through until the ones that came with my e-bike were back in stock. The extension of the arm is great for comfort in viewing what is coming up behind you. This mirror can be adjusted in any way that you need, so the options should be conducive to just about everyone ! It went around the handlebars easily and when tightened properly stays put. When my back ordered mirrors arrived ( that were much more expensive ) , I was shocked at the difference in the clarity of the views in the mirrors. The quality of this product is seen throughout every aspect of it. I now have 3 mirrors on my bike because I wasn’t going to remove this mirror which was definitely my favorite !

Fourth one I've ordered; first one for right side
I probably should add this to a previous review, but it's easier just to post a new one. We have these on all our bicycles, and I feel much safer because of this. They are easy to mount and adjust, and don't get in the way even though they mount on the handlebar proper. I do sometimes have to move my arm to get a full rear view. Our others are mounted on the left side, which works well for me. But my partner wanted one on both sides and still tells me how much better she feels with two mirrors.

Nice design...but quality control issues
So I ordered 1 of these for my bike and it works great. So much so that I ordered one for my wife's bike. The biggest reason we ordered these are because of the following: 1. Aluminum construction, well built...not plastic (well the arm isn't at least) 2. It appears to be an actual mirror and not a plastic reflective lens that gets scratched up over time 3. Having eBikes there is additional equipment on the handlebars that prevents you from mounting your mirror as far to the edge (grips) as you can. Because of this many mirrors don't extend out far enough and end up getting shrouded by your own body. These extend farther than the average ones do. My problem on the second unit was that the mounting part that clamps around your handlebars had the clamp screw hole threaded at an angle and because of that the screw end actually ran into the body preventing it from going through enough to actually clamp it down. There was no amount of force you can do to the screw to get it to screw all the way down (unless you wanted to break or strip it). Luckily for me (and definitely not something 99.9% of the population would have) I have tap and die sets for an entire range of threads. So I basically finished tapping it all the way through so the screw could finish clamping down. This is 100% a quality control issue since this should've never left the factory this way. What's worse is if an entire batch was made like this and made it out. Anyway I could've obviously just contacted Amazon and had another one sent (that hopefully didn't have the problem), but that isn't really the point here. If you find you have one that won't tighten around your handlebars even though you've tighten your bolt all the way...check to see if you can just screw it all the way through without it being on the bike. In my case the picture shows as far as the screw would go in and you can see how it is at an angle to the part it is screwing into. In the end because I retapped the threads all the way through I was able to get it to work and can say it is on the wife's bike and looks great. This definitely would've been a 5 star review if there hadn't been this type of issue...

Finally found a mirror I like for my bike
This fit easily on my hybrid bike. It didn't come with the allen wrench tool needed to screw it on but I found one at home. It screwed on so it was very secure and moving out of place. And the mirror could be placed so that I could see the road and not my arm by pulling it out as far as it goes. It's easy to adjust to get the exact right placing, and then it stays there. And the quality of the mirror was very good. It stays securely in the right place without a lot of jumping around that other mirrors I had tried did. I'm very happy with it!

Broke while adjusting for the first time
Mirror is supposed to be easily adjustable by hand but the grip is too tight so the pivotal stem broke while I was gently trying to adjust it. Overall design and material look good but they should make it easier to pivot.
