almost perfection in a keyboard. WELL worth it!
so first, lets get the bad out of the way.... 1) the switches. some people may love cherry mx switches... but i personally dont. there is too much wobble in the stem, which is just a side effect of the design. 2) the software leaves a lot to be desired. it is GOOD... it does what it says it can do (macros, key remapping, speed, etc) but it has little annoyances that they are still working out the bugs on (it states pretty clearly that its beta software in the app). it has to stay open and running for anything to work 100% as far as macros or key remapping. but, its just annoyances... it all works. thats pretty much it for the bad. the good: 1) this board is SOLID. i disassembled mine (yes, i know i voided warranty - but more on that later) and the steel plate the switches are mounted to is THICK and turned up on the edges for even more rigidity. 2) the gunmetal color and white are both nice touches. they look good. 3) the keycaps are pretty impressive. they are pbt doubleshot and have a soft almost velveety feel to them. they are definitely quality caps. every legend is perfect... alignment is perfect... just an amazing set of keycaps. 4) the insides are almost as nice as the outside. there was a lot of care put into this board, and its obvious from the internals. 5) smart placement on the indicator lights. ive had lots of boards that throw the indicators just a few mm above the num lock row. if you are sitting over the board, you can see them.... but lean back in your seat a little, and they are impossible to see. not this board! they are smartly placed inline with the top row, so they are visible from any angle, and are noticeable but not bright so they arent distracting. really smart layout. 5) detachable usb-c cable. and get this... they groove the usb-c area to allow you to plug the thing in without even looking (if you use their cable that is). but, the grooves arent in the way, so any cable will work just fine. thats a smart idea and nice touch. the little things really make an impact. 6) they include BOTH a usb-c to usb-c cable, and a usb-c to usb-a cable, so no matter what... as long as you have an open usb port, you can use it. boards that cost twice this much barely include 1 of the options. 7) the stabilizers - WOW. when i opened this board up to start working, i expected to find cheap stabilizers. i was surprised to find pre-modded (clipped) cherry stabilizers that were well lubed. this makes ALL the difference when typing. as a result, there is ZERO rattle on this board. just nice solid clicks. i was given one of these boards, and loved it so much (which is rare, because as i said - i hate cherry switches) that i bought a second one. when i did, i decided to open up the one that was given to me, and desolder every switch in there. i replaced them with Novelkeys + Kailh Box Heavy Burnt Orange switches, and as soon as i finished (which was no quick task) the difference was night and day. this is my new favorite board... i absolutely love it now. the heavy orange switches give this thing a solid thunk when typing, and just enough resistance and tactility that its absolutely perfection. (DURGOD: IF YOU READ THIS - PLEASE CONSIDER KAILH BOX SWITCHES IN THE FUTURE!) This is an amazing board, at an amazing price. if you like cherry switches, this keyboard is a no brainer - it is perfection. but even if you dont... its absolutely worth the time consider buying this as to use as a kit and replace the switches with something you like. the switches are all plate mounted, and easy to do with a few hours and $40-80 worth of switches. (warning: not recommended for someone new to soldering or building your own keyboard) the end result on this board is something i would have gladly paid hundreds for. but i did it for less than $150, and a few hours time. well worth it.

Built like a tank, stays solidly in place, great switch feel
This keyboard is a bit pricey but I have to say that it's built like a tank. The weight of the metal chassis keeps it stuck to the desk, I love that. It drives me crazy when keyboards keep creeping around as I'm hammering along on them. I went with the Cherry MX brown key switches. They have a moderate tension, no buckling spring feel (bit noisy but quieter than buckling spring clicks) and they clack positively when they bottom. It reminds me of old commercial electric typewriters which is what I learned to type on. This feels like a commercial data terminal keyboard, very very nice. A bit expensive but feels like it will last for a good long time. The only other nit to pick is that so many keyboards have short cords now. I like a tower on the floor a few feet away and this one just makes it. I would have liked another two feet on it for easier routing. The good news is that I could just get a USB extension cable if I want to stretch it further.

Nice keyboard EXCEPT key caps
This keyboard is sturdy and has a nice feel when typing. I use this at work so the Cherry Brown doesnโt disturb my co-workers but gives me the right amount of tactile feel and clicky sound. With all that good, the key caps keep breaking. The connectors crack in half. Iโve had the keyboard since April and Iโve already had two keys break. I was able to get my first broken key replaced but it took almost two months to get a replacement. A big ding on an otherwise enjoyable keyboard!

Key Caps are poorly made
Itโs a good keyboard for the first few days.. after that start to expect the key caps to break.

A great buy for a first mechanical keyboard
Coming from nothing but rubber dome keyboards, this keyboard was a great first foray into the world of mechanical keyboards. I got one of those Cherry MX samplers and played with it for a couple weeks before deciding Browns were the way to go for me. For the money there are others of a similar price like the Ducky One 2, but this one just looked cleaner and more attractive to me. First impressions were surprising. While I had watched review videos and listened to recordings, I was still surprised by how loud it was. I loved how it felt to type on, and the PBT double shot keys feel SO nice on the fingertips. But the noise was a deterrent to actually use it, so I looked at a couple sound dampening options. The first one I tried was EliteKeyboards' soft landing pads, as they came highly recommended. Well, the sound was right, but the feel was too mushy. So I switched over to regular rubber rings and it's absolutely spot on. Key presses are solid and the noise is just right! And it feels SO luxurious to use. It just begs me to reach over and start typing something. This review probably would have been shorter if it wasn't so fun to type on! OK I should probably end it now haha.

Sturdy keyboard with quality problems
I wanted to buy a nice, robust mechanical keyboard for heavy use (programming, technical report writing etc). Back in the day I had several IBM M keyboards, but they have long since died. I previously bought an AKKO keyboard, but while that works well and feels great, I miss the extra number pad that the 104 key configuration offers. I have no interest in macro configuration or backlighting - just more things to go wrong. Durogod seems to offer a reasonable value mechanical keyboard which I thought would meet this use. I received this keyboard in the mail and found that 5 of the key caps were loose in the package. Thinking that this was a handling issue during shipping (although the package had no visible signs of trauma) I re-attached the keycaps and plugged it in. This unit ships with 2 cables, a USBC to USBC cable and a USBC to USB cable. The underside of the keyboard offers a channel for cable routing either to exit the cable on the left, right or in the middle which is quite nice. On first connection I came across a problem - the keyboard would output random characters or would miss key-release events causing what looked like a stuck key. By re-arranging the keyboard to route to the computer this disappeared. It seems like this keyboard is not 100% compatible with all USB hubs and hence connecting it to your computer needs some experimentation. This keyboard took a bit of time to get used to as I selected cherry brown, where I had previously only used cherry red. The brown downforce is lower than red, and while it took time to get over the strange feel, I notice that my hands are less tired after a long typing session - something to consider for anyone debating red vs brown cherry switches. Using this keyboard now for several months and have noticed that 5 of they keycaps fall off when they are tapped or even during fast typing. When investigating fixes for this (typically a layer of scotch tape on the stalk) I notice that the stalk capture element was split. This is disappointing as one of the selling points of this keyboard is the double shot key caps. Suffice to say I replaced all the key caps with a dye-sub keycap kit from YMDK. When I removed the Durogod keycaps, most of them were very loosely attached to the key stalks and would be failing soon. While removing the keycaps I also noticed a mounting screw that was not properly seated. Not a big issue, but I would have expected a little bit of quality control for a $100 keyboard. Another issue I found with this keyboard is that it 'forgets' keyboard status - when it is left on for some time the NUM, CAPS and SCROLL lock LEDs turn off - even if the status that they indicate is still true. If they firmware is unable to verify the status of these settings then I would be fine with just not having these LEDs rather than LEDs that show an ambiguous state. All in all this is a reasonable choice of keyboard. If you do buy this keyboard I would highly recommend buying a set of key caps to replace the ones supplied. I would not buy this keyboard again if I had to buy another keyboard as I just want a keyboard that works and is reliable - this keyboard is not it.

Excellent Keyboard
I am by no means a keyboard expert, but I do use a keyboard all day everyday for work. Since I am now working from home 100%, I wanted to use something that felt more premium and had a nice typing experience. I was less concerned with the loudness of the typing experience since I am in my home office with nobody else to disturb except for my wife. With that being said, I opted for the more quiet keys and feel there is still good feedback and clickiness without being too loud. A great keyboard and it is standing up to the daily abuse of typing things for work all day long. You can count on this keyboard lasting a long time and looking nice while you work.

Key caps started popping off and breaking, not good quality
I liked the look of the keyboard and the feel. I was using the keyboard for home office work. After about a few weeks, one key cap popped off from the switch. Nothing seemed wrong with it so I just popped it back on. A few weeks later, another one did the same thing. Inspecting this one and I found that the key cap was broken at the place where it attaches to the switch. About a week later, had another key cap do the same thing. I reached out to the Durgod support email (no phone number listed on their website) and never received a response. It's been going on several weeks now. Judging by some other reviewer's observations about the keyboard, this is not unexpected. As a result, I returned the keyboard and got a refund. I bought the Mistel X-VIII instead. I'll see how that holds up for me. By the way, I have an older CoolerMaster Storm Quickfire XT mechanical keyboard I've been using as my personal daily driver since 2016 and never had any issues with it. It's built like a tank.

Fantastic, heavy duty, great quality
The keyboard is build like a tank, feels heavy and strong, zero flex. The plastics used are good quality and had no issues as of yet. Typing feels and sounds great with the cherry mx browns. Overall feels quality and definitely worth the price, first board I've got from durgod but would look towards durgod again in the future. No complaint's here, very pleased.

Great keyboard, rubber grips on underside have weak glue.
Keyboard feels nice to type on, previous similar keyboard (TKL instead of 104 key) lasted 3.5 years before a spilled drink damaged a few keys so that they were not working consistently. Only problem I have is the rubber grips on the underside tend to come off because the glue isn't very strong.

Great mechanical keyboard
Bought 2 of these for work (for myself and co-worker) to replace our aging Logitech keyboards. Build quality is really good on this. Keyboard has good weight and doesn't move around. The mechanical switches have a satisfying tactile feel and audible click. There is little to no rattle in the larger keys (space bar, shift, enter) like I've experience with other mechanical keyboards. The stabilizers work well. The keycaps on this keyboard are great. They are soft texture to them typing, difficult to describe but makes the typing experience that much better. I like the keyboard so much, I ordered another one for my home office. Would definitely recommend this product. Would be nice to have dedicated media controls, but for the quality provided I can live without them. Using FN key and F1 to F8, you can control the media and volume anyways.

Incredible Quality and feel.
I've never heard of Durgod before but this keyboard has been great too me, even after dropping heavy things on it and spilling water over it, it's been holding strong. The brown switches type amazingly and the overall feel is great. Windows 7 computers can't take advantage of the Music function keys.

Best no-frills typing keyboard I have used.
I do a lot of typing and general computer work for my job, so I like to have a good quality keyboard I use for all of my typing. I find that mechanical keyboards are much more pleasant to type on for long periods of time that regular membrane keyboards. The only problem is that 99% of mechanical keyboards are designed for gamers, with fancy, stylish designs and RGB lighting (not really suitable for my office aesthetic!). What I love about this keyboard is that it just looks like a 'regular' office keyboard (no RGB or fancy effects of any kind), and it types like an absolute dream. It is a sturdy, heavy, well-made keyboard that doesn't move around or flex at all when you use it, and the brown switches give good resistance and a nice typing sound and feel that isn't so loud it will distract your neighbours (like blue switches tend to do). My only minor gripes are that the silly DURGOD brand label is printed on the front, which just is a dumb name to me, and also I think that even though it's a well-made board it's probably more expensive than it needs to be, given that it's just a no-frills typing experience. That being said, the build quality is such that I suspect this keyboard is going to outlive me, so in the long run I don't think that the price tag will matter too much.
