Great mathematics, easy to understand.
I used this to review myself before taking a college-level math course at my university. If you're trying to learn everything, on your own, without an instructor, you're better off going to Kahn's Academy and using the free lessons there. But if you are good at self-review and already have this stuff wired in your brain from a long time ago, then this is an excellent resource. The price is good, too.

I appreciate this challenging math course I enrolled in for freshman year of college
College math 1101 and math support class 0099 are challenging for me and this text book was free which helps alot since the price to buy it is almost 60 dollars.

Decent quality
I bought it used. It’s obviously an old library book. But it’s still a decent quality. I think it overall looks pretty good overall. The only issue is the writing on the pages for the sides.

Reviewing algebra
It appears to be a good text. I’m coming back to review algebra to tutor so the instruction is good. I’m not coming from zero knowledge though.

Was able to pass the CLEP after reviewing my algebra with this book
I bought this book to review my Algebra so I can pass my CLEP exam and get straight into Calculus. This book did more than enough!

I needed this textbook for a college course and am absolutely thrilled it's free online considering how stupidly overpriced new textbooks tend to be!

Some typos make it difficult to tell if you're getting it correct
Book is okay. It explains some concepts well enough, but there are typos and messed up answers which throws me off.
