Used this to wire in pond pumps and accessories. It saves plugging and unplugging and/or having to access outdoor sockets. So pump maintenance now is just the flick of a switch or two. It requires patience to install, because the terminals are close together and fiddly. But once done it works as advertised. NB: This is 5amp total, so it won’t take a big load. It is protected inside by a 5amp quick blow 20mm glass fuse for which no spare is provided; it’s surely a good idea to have a couple on standby. Overall, well made and good value.

Very close to perfect but I do agree with some of the other reviews - the glands and terminals are very small, so if you are dealing with anything other than small cable with stranded wire it's going to be difficult. The terminals I could work with but the glands really were absurdly small. I was able to swap one out for a bigger size (from the old junction box I was replacing, actually) and got it working that way, so just bear in mind that you may need to purchase your own glands of "the next size up" if you're using a cable of any decent girth. But with that out of the way, it looks good, tidy, and does the job its designed for. Also the seller was great at accepting a return after I initially bought the wrong one...

Very easy to set up. Well made. Connections were slightly fiddly but nowhere near as bad as with some others I've seen. Switches are robust and the unit is working very well indeed.

I needed a multiple switch for the pump and three filters (so I have two spare slots for future proofing) in my fountain coming off a single 13a supply. Having checked the ratings on the pump & filters and this switch all looked good and has worked fine. I guess this is the application it was designed for. My switch sits inside a manhole (with cover) so it's protected from the elements and allows me to individually switch each pump & filter which is great if ever I need to isolate one. Seems well made but was a bit fiddly to fit as connections small - no different to many electrical fittings!

Very good product. Installing was easy. Just the terminals could be a little larger. Did struggle with some of the wires.

I ordered this unit for my pond gubbins as it was quite a lot cheaper than the named brand of pond unit , the unit seems sturdy enough and was easy to fit only gripe was the wire terminal holes are quite small making it a little difficult to insert the wires fully into the terminals, it seems to work really well i added a few waterproof stickers so i know which switch does what
