These tracks fit my MX8 cleaner as advertised. They are a little stiff and not very “stretchy,” which may be good in the long run, but it makes for a little challenge to get them on the cleaner’s guide wheels. One needs to take some care not to break something on the cleaner when installing (most of the cleaner’s parts are plastic, after all). I suggest starting with two guide wheels and slowly and carefully rolling the track into place on the third wheel. Make sure the center rib seats into the groove on the 3 drive wheels. Once installed, these tracks really made a difference in my cleaner’s performance. The little teeth on the older tracks were, upon comparison, very worn, and the older tracks were much looser fitting, which apparently led to slippage and reduced mobility.

Awesome replacement tracks for the Zodiac Mx8. Easy to install....place onto small wheel FIRST, then onto other two larger wheels. Took a few seconds. My cleaner is back in action and climbing the walls again.

Nice product that works but they are made of a much stiffer rubber than the original so tough to put on, but for the price they work well.

Quality replacement for zodiac pool sweep

These seemed like a great value, at first. My MX8 Elite seemed like it was fixed and running great. Within a few months, however, the treads split (see pics). The wheels then started to spin inside the treads while I was out of town. Unable to source the real Polaris treads, I bought another set of these -bad idea. The treads were even stiffer than the first and just a very small amount too tight on the wheels. Black rubber sludge built up on the plastic wheels, gears began to grind inside the unit and trashed the teeth (as another buyer noted; had to clean up wheels with Goo Gone and alcohol). The rubber tread seems to be slightly harder and less stretchy than OEM. I wound up buying the Polaris OEM tuneup kit (not cheap) and it came with treads & gears. Now the unit is working after tuneup. The *real* OEM tuneup kit (or treads) is what you need. The real treads cost ~$30: a rip off. But the AR PRO brand treads are not the answer.

I’m very pleased with the Heavy duty quality rubber tracks. Fits perfectly. Pool vacuum moves around much better now it’s finally getting clean again.

Shipping a little slow but it was coming a long way. As good or better than OEM tracks and a hell of a lot cheaper

UPDATE: THESE ONLY LASTED 1.5 MONTHS COMPARED TO GENUINE PURCHASES LOCALLY. GENUNE LASTED UP TO 1 YEAR INCLUDING 8 HRS PER DAY IN SUMMER. IN WINTER I ONLY USE 4 HRS PER DAY (2HRS MORNING AND 2 AFTERNOON) - NOT HAPPY !! TYRES ARE ALSO WASTING AWAY AND BECOMING VERY VERY THIN AT EDGES.
