Magically good for tiny ants
This is an EXTRAORDINARY EFFICIENT product for annihilating tiny (Pharaoh like) ants as well as all other kinds of this nasty pest. Every summer we fight with ants and are victorious, except against the tiny ones which like especially our kitchen and our food. I have tried other anti-ants products from supermarkets and on-line. Nothing worked against the tiny ants including all the popular RAID products (which ARE effective against larger ants) while, though RAID frankly states their uselessness against Pharaoh, in my wife's desperation I still hoped that maybe... ). The relief came after I read on Amazon good references about this COMBAT cream, which was not on our local supermarkets shelves, and have ordered it from Amazon. The tiny ants disappeared as by magic after a week. We are now into the third summer month fully without ants, and I strongly RECOMMEND this cream to all in trouble.

The copy I got is such a terrible example of printing/binding
The copy I got is such a terrible example of printing/binding. No footnotes or anything either. Apparently, this is reworked from A Treatise of Human Nature; so I bought the wrong book. I found it repetitive too, so if you are interested in Hume maybe it makes more sense to read that book instead? Who knows.

Great Reading
They say that your undergraduate is about understanding how philosophers think, and not how you can contribute to the philosophy field. I feel as though this book gives you a great foundation on the basis of Empiricism, and can lead to other modern thinkers. I recommend this book to anyone who wants an enjoyable and classic read.

Bit of a hard read
The concepts argumented in the book and the style of argumentation are beyond reasonable, but the overall wording is a tad hard to grasp at times. Phylosophy + the ability to clearly communicate = the ability to clearly communicate Phylosophycally, basicly.

A Superb Follow-Up to Sextus Empiricus
I recently read Outlines of Scepticism by Sextus Empiricus in order to gain a better understanding of the origins of modern skepticism. When I read Hume it felt like I was reading a direct sequel to Sextus' classic (written around 200 AD). Hume has some harsh words about "superstition" but overall here he is more concerned with exploring "how we know things" rather than debunking any particular mythology or religion. If you want to challenge your own thought-life give Hume a try. As others have stated, this book is quite accessible.

Enlightening + delighting book
We are in 1748, Hume is defending the hypothesis that even when humans experience cause/effect our conclusions are NOT based on reasoning or understanding. What a STUPID species! Wait a second… there is a bit of hope. Given any text/article/book, he recommends two tests: a) does it contain abstract reasoning over quantity or numbers? b) does it contain any experimental reasoning over matter of fact? If NO for both, then burn the damn thing! Enlightening + delighting book.

Trying to make sense of the reign of Henry VIII
A very interesting review of how Henry VIII came to be so much married and of the characters and families of his wives and the ongoing religious reforms. Not all of it quite hangs together but it certainly sweeps onwards through the events it narrates.

FROM THE POSTHUMOUS EDITION OF 1777, AND EDITED WITH INTRODUCTION, COMPARATIVE TABLES OF CONTENTS, AND ANALYTICAL INDEX BY L.A. SELBY-BIGGE, OXFORD. SECOND EDITION, 1902
