Decent but NOT like the Ultimate.
WELL. It is a DAS. That much I 'll give it to them. Unfortunately, a comparison between this product and the Ultimate Clicky which I also own can show that this iteration is totally inferior. The Ultimate not only has switches that respond much better to typing but also these switches are used in all the keys, including e.g. space bar and the other keys that have stabilisers. If you can, order the Ultimate model and buy additional keycaps to switch the keys if you so desire. The quality is there but I believe that for its' price you can get far better mechanical keyboards. A quick research shows that the professional keyboards use different switches (not Cherry MX) than the ultimate ones. If you are really picky, you should avoid it all the way and get a true Cherry MX experience. Because the Model S Professional, simply doesn't cut it. On the pros side, if there is one, it's a bit more quiet (I compared blue switches in both cases) than the Ultimate one - but if you are going for the blue switches, noise I think is not your main concern now, is it?

Back in the '80s I used an IBM Selectric at my job in a Bank, and always loved it, was one of my favourite typewriters of all time. My typing speed on that machine was 80 wpm, loved the clicky touch and keyboard feel. In fact when the typewriters were upgraded I bought that Selectric for home use, only to be told I had to return it as Head Office required the return of typewriters that had been replaced. Kind of ruined my day. Anyways over the years with numerous computers and various keyboards, I never was able to find a keyboard I liked as much as the one on that old Selectric. Then one day I thought for the heck of it I would google to see if there were any keyboards similar to the touch and feel. Up came this one through Amazon, I did more checking, reading reviews etc., and decided on this particular keyboard. It is not 100% like the old Selectric, but it is a darn close second. It is pretty basic, other keyboards I have had were full of keys that were useless to me, only serving to clutter the keyboard, and this one covers the basics for computer use with no need for any of the more complicated ones with features I never used. So far I have not found any issues, I completely love it. I would totally recommend this for anyone who likes to "hear" yourself type, the keys are "indented" a touch which makes a good feel, knowing where your fingers are. Especially I would recommend this for people who have good typing speed, it works sooooo well compared to those crappy flat keyboards where you always have to look to see where your fingers are and as well to see if what you have typed actually is on the screen! This one works like a charm, and as mentioned, so far so good and I really don't anticipate any problems.

Will update this as time goes Background : I mainly play League of legends, girlfriend goes to university, we both use the PC First impressions : (Upgrading from the default PC keyboard) Super solid keyboard, it is very heavy, the keys aren't as loud as I thought they would be and the finish is really nice Good : Fun to type with! Looks and feels nice Less good : Nice antislip underneath but none on the brakets to tilt it Bad : Nothing yet! Maybe a bit pricey, but you gotta pay for that extra quality Will update in 1 month of use.
