The Vision Board Book is a vibrant, inspiring guide that goes far beyond cut-and-paste collages. It dives deep into the why and how of creating vision boards that truly work—offering practical strategies, stunning photo examples, and a framework that empowers readers to manifest with intention. The acronym GRABS—Gratitude, Release and receive, Acknowledge progress, Believe, and Share—is a powerful tool I’ll carry forward. I especially loved the concept of Power Words. I’ve used them instinctively for years, but this book gave them a name and a purpose. After finishing it, I felt energized and equipped—I’m ready to lead a Vision Board Workshop and help others tap into their dreams with clarity and creativity.

The "Vision Board: The Secret to an Extraordinary Life," by Joyce Schwarz, is a very well written, well organized composition of guidance, examples, and extraordinary testimonies from ordinary people all over who had vision boards consciously or unconsciously. What I love most about this book, aside from the clear instructional guidance delivered on every single page, is the wonderful collection of real Vision Boards that Joyce painstakingly sought out from people around the world of varying backgrounds, lifestyles, goals, and accomplishments to include. Joyce seamlessly carries us from developing our a vision, to understanding the purpose of visioning, and igniting our passion to create our Vision Board by sharing this phenomenal "Secret to an extraordinary Life." This book is not only written with the passion and love of the author, but the author has included the passion and love of all the vision board owners in the book and has opened a way for many of their remarkable journeys; including my own as my vision board appears on page 143. This is a creative guide to awaken our passion to dream and plan our destinies with confidence. Ms. Schwarz doesn't just teach the art of creating vision boards she explores the history and power of this primordial art form and effectively endorses the evidence of believing in our vision. There is a fantastic feeling that you only get when a power greater than yourself, the universe, God, gives you a gift. A life affirming gift. One that ignites every essence of your being and has your blood pumping and heart throbbing. You find yourself saying, Oh I didn't know it could be this intense, amazing, or I could never have imagined something of this magnitude yet with such detail! The timing is beyond human construction. This is a very good book about vision board making. Unfortunately I got the similar book "It Works!" before Miss Joyce Schwartz's book. That book taught every "essential" know-how about Goal/Vision setting in 15-20 pages of it. No-nonsense/ direct to the core. That book simplifies everything. Left with no doubt. This book, on the contrary, presents unnecessary and complicated information. And from times to times presents real-life vision boards which are, in my humble opinions, wrong in every level of vision board making. (Such as writing negative phrase instead of positive one.) Yet it's still a very good book for vision board beginners. If you want a collection of Law of Attraction books you should have this book.

This is a beautiful book, nice size, easy to travel with. The Vision Board by Joyce Schwarz has a lot more information and advice than I expected from a Vision Board book and I purchased more to see examples and photos of other vision boards, which this has lots of (some are amazing). But it goes deeper than that, people share their life stories and how the boards helped them focus on what they wanted, like a mental list. There are sections on health, romance, career, family life and wealth. I particularly liked the section on making a board with your child. It's a fun craft project that allows you to see what your child is thinking of and what is interesting to them and their dreams and visions. Priceless. It doesn't promise to answer all your questions about life or promise if you make a vision board of money you'll be rich, it's just a nice guidebook on how to create a vision board. Some examples of people who have used vision boards to be successful include Walt Disney, Jim Carrey, and Dilbert creator, Scott Adams.

Joyce Schwarz's The Vision Book is terrific, and offers something for everyone. If you consider yourself artistically impaired, she gently walks you through the process of first visioning, and then articulating that vision with words and images to bring that vision alive in your life. If you have an artistic eye, you will be inspired by the gorgeous vision boards featured throughout the book. If you are methodical and like a step-by-step approach, you'll find that here. Or if you prefer to browse, you can dive in anywhere and come away with value. In addition to samples of vision boards, guidance on creating your own board from A-Z, chapters and exercises for creating vision boards for a variety of purposes, the book is also peppered with profiles of people who have successfully used the visioning process and the results they produced, inspirational quotes from great poets, philosophers, and spiritual leaders, and one-on-one interviews with some of the biggest names in the "new thought" movement. For anyone who is walking a path to lead a conscious life through intentional creation, this book is a must-have.

It may be difficult to accomplish your dreams if you can't see them. Once they are in front of you constantly, your dreams can begin to take shape and unfold from the visions, pictorial images, and text that represent your mantra into a creative representation of the life that you desire to live. Author Joyce Schwarz shares a detailed step-by-step process to capture your dreams and turn them into reality. The Vision Board: The Secret to an Extraordinary Life provides a how-to guide to understanding the power, the creativity, and the genius associated with creating a tangible representation of what you truly desire out of life. After Schwarz describes the basic process of creating your vision board, she then focuses on the importance of activating it, through the use of affirmations, visualization, and Feng Shui. Without connecting these three important components to your vision board, you have basically created an art project that lacks active energy and the power to take you to the next level. As a career coach I have used this book in group sessions and have recommended in to clients. It will change your life!

I bought this book, primarily because, as a musician, I regularly either buy a book about creativity, or try to learn a new skill, or craft, like dowsing, or cooking a different type of meal. Creative mixing is what keeps my lyric-writing fresh... Joyce Schwarz' book was inspirational, colourful, down-to-earth with fantastic advice, and many different stories of people who used vision boards, and their results. I was so impressed with the different styles of vision boards, and realised that anything goes, when you make your own. The chapters are well laid-out, and the typeface is easy to read. I'm still in the prep phase, but this is the most fun I've had in a few months! Vision boards can be used for anything; projects, family activities, cosmic ordering, or even wedding planning. There are numerous websites to check out, but at the moment,I have yet to see the website connected to the book,[...]. I'd recommend this book, and I am so grateful Joyce took the time to write this book.

This was a used copy and it looks new. This is my third or fourth copy, as people keep asking to borrow it! The suggestions made my vision boards much more effective. There are an amazing array of examples in this book. If you’re looking to make your first vision board or you want boards that will really reflect what you want, this is a great book to read!

not quiet what i wanted, bit quirky but will read it again. just light entertainment passes the night away, if you cant sleep.
