I have a Sony BRAVIA XBRHX929 TV and wondering if I need a 3d Synch xmitter along w/ these glasses or will it synch/work directly with the TV ?

You would NOT need a 3D emitter because your TV has one built-in as does mine (KDL-55HX729).

Are these compatible with the KDL-50W800B?

I use them on my kids KDL 40EX720. And as far as I know, PS 3 glasses which are made by Sony, will work with all active ready Sony TVs
