Splash About Happy Nappy Costume with Reusable Swim Nappy

We love the happy nappy swimsuit range. We have bought one in every size for our little one whilst she has been attending Water Babies swimming lessons. I love that the swim nappy is built into the costume, which when combined with a disposable nappy, fits all of the requirements for ‘double nappies’ as set by many pools. The swimsuit, as opposed to just the happy nappy, give a nice amount of body coverage without being too warm in hydro pools. My daughter had seemed really comfortable in it. The pattern on this costume was as lovely as pictured and the quality of the material is really excellent. I love the bold colours, which make my little one even more visible in the water. They’re a little stiff to get on, there isn’t much stretch (though the top half is stretchier), so it’s obvious when you need to size up, but it gives reassurance that no little accidents could possibly leak. The inner lining is black, so there’s no risk of any unpleasant staining either. They do require handwashing, which is a little bit of a downside - people with young children don’t have much time for this sort of thing, but the pattern and costumes in all sizes have lasted really well, probably as a result. Hand-wash cycle in the washing machine has been fine fortunately!

Would really recommend measuring and buying a bigger size to get the most out of it ... we previously bought the right size (by age) and she’d grown out of it almost as quickly as i’d bought it so this time I measured and we’ve gone for a bigger size (up two age brackets!) - it’s a little big but still tight around the legs / waist and we use a swim nappy anyway so was fine but i’d rather it start a little big so we get more use out of it!

Lovely swimsuit. Easy to put on and looks super cute. So far no accidents. Easy to clean and quick to dry *UPDATE* still 5 stars. Baby been wearing this swim suit for nearly 5mths now. It's just starting to get too small for her. She is wearing age 6-9mths clothing. The swimsuit is tight around the legs, but it does stop unwanted poo escapes...as I found out recently. Definitely did the job!! Highly recommended this swimsuit!

I was dubious about the happy nappy swim suit as we have been using the happy nappy wrap before hand. I was pleased with how easy this was to put on my 6 month old and how pretty it was. My daughter has been warm enough at 6 months in the swimming pool in this. I do think it will struggle to fit her at age 1 as I found this begun to fit before 6 months and her wrap 3-6 months she outgrew before 6 months. The product is great quality and you have no worries of leaks from the thicker nappy. Some pools will only allow these sorts of swim suits for babies which also an advantage. The quality of this swim suit is much better than other swim suits I’ve found and I would definitely buy again the next size up when necessary.

Great fit, size as expected. Great quality product for the price. Shame the child wailed like a Banshee whi's stubbed their toe upon contact with the water but that was no fault of her costume :-)

We have used this at least once a week for around 10 months now, and it has lasted extremely well with no fading or wear. It's outrageously cute and the built-in nappy has never failed. The only thing to note is that it doesn't offer a lot of coverage, so if you are doing a swimming lesson or planning a long session in the pool, it may be useful to get a thermal all-in-one to go over the top too. As our daughter has got older she is now able to withstand the water temperature a bit better and doesn't need it any more, but when she was smaller, this suit alone left her quite cold after only 10 mins or so.

Got the Splash About swim nappy but having a baby girl i wanted a full costume. I looked and found this on Amazon. And it was a great find. It is lovely to wear and baby is so cute in it. Plus easier to life and carry her during swimming class. And the best thing is - very little chance of "leakages". As opposed to the swim nappy which stretches at the band after many uses, this stays tight and secure because of the top. Whilst the swimming teacher was checking other babies to make sure their nappies were secure, we always were ok because we used this swim costume!

Lovely fit, smaller than thought though Sure I read upto 8 months.. but defo only 3-6 months in size xSure I read upto 8 months..
