This is brilliant when you have mastitis or a blocked duct. Worked on three occasions for me..Great item.

Absolutely fantastic!
BEST breastpump! The most milk I’ve collected and as a new mum it was amazing catching the let down from the other boob whilst feeding. So simple and easy to use. Highly recommend.

One of my favourite breastfeeding tools
I have 3 of these now as I love them so much. I have a hand pump and electric pump, and yet I’ve collected most milk with the Haaka. It’s perfect first thing in the morning or whenever you’re engorged, and is so comfortable. Just be careful because sometimes the suction fails and it falls off, or baby can kick it off!

Simple, Effective & Affordable – With a Few Drawbacks
The Haakaa Manual Breast Pump is such a simple yet effective product, and it’s very affordable compared to other options. I was able to collect a really good amount of milk using it, especially in the early weeks. The suction was great at first and worked exactly as expected. However, after a few uses, the suction didn’t seem as strong, and I’m not sure what changed. I’d mainly recommend this for use when you’re not feeding baby simultaneously, or when baby is still small and not very active. Once they start moving and kicking, it’s very easy for them to knock it off, which unfortunately led to a few spills — that’s the main reason I stopped using it. I also noticed the product changed colour after sterilising with hot water (as stated in the instructions). This made me repurchase another one, and even though I was more careful the second time, it still slightly discoloured. Overall, it’s a great concept and very handy, but there are a few practical downsides to consider. The Haakaa Manual Breast Pump is such a simple yet effective product, and it’s very affordable compared to other options. Fantastic product
This product is amazing for saving breastmilk! It catches your milk flow on one side whilst you’re pumping the other. Just remember to keep an eye on it as I accidentally didn’t one of the first times I used it and it fell off as it became heavy and as a result, must have lost it’s suction. I was so upset I lost a whole thing of milk! Lesson learnt and I emptied it regularly into a bottle. The product does eventually go a funny creamy/yellow colour if left in sterilising solution (I kept putting it in my cold water steriliser) to the point you can’t tell how much milk is in it so if you buy this just sterilise it before use than allowing it to sit in the solution for a while. Overall I think this product is amazing and I wish it had existed with my first two children. I’d certainly recommend it to others!

It’s okay
I used the Hakka for a bit when I used to breastfeed when my baby was a newborn. I never use it anymore. It is good to catch the access milk but idk…. I wouldn’t buy it again if I went back in time.

Life saving
I have breastfed my first child on demand for 3½ years and just given birth to my second, resulting in a painful engorgement. I am a pro at hand expressing when needed and have used an electric pump in the past, but sterilising the multiple parts and dealing with tubes or charging cables is a nightmare. Enters the haakaa succion cups. I couldn't believe how good, fuss free and effective these are. Sanitised in 3 seconds. Highly portable. Silent to use. No discomfort. You just fold the top part, pinch the bottom part to create a vacuum and they automatically adhere to your nipples, so you can be hands free, they'll stay on. In less than 5 minutes, I can collect a bag's worth of milk (never had any issue with supply, I tend to overproduce milk without any effort). I highly recommend this item.

Great suction! Ideal for collection of letdown milk.
Absolutely recommend this pump for use while doing both - breastfeeding the baby or expressing milk. While the baby or pump is on one breast, the haakaa can be used to collect the letdown on the other. The best part is its suction. You just put it on the breast and forget about it. It collects a good quantity of letdown milk which otherwise goes waste. It's also effective as a manual breast pump. For me, it doesn't work as efficiently as an electric pump. But for the price and the fact that it's completely hands free, noise free, portable, no charging required, it's a complete value for money and an absolute must-have!
