Kawaii Polymer Clay Creations: 20 Super-Cute Miniature Projects

Just before purchasing the book, I was able to read the preview and figure out which polymer clay to purchase along with the book. After the book and clay arrived, I skimmed through the entire introduction and then got started with my two daughters ages 8 and 10. They were quickly able to figure out what to do and spent the afternoon making adorable figures. I easily made two rabbits and my husband a football helmet (not in the book). My older daughter and I both felt the previous 1-star review was unfair. She wrote the following review: "Kawaii Polymer Clay Creations is a great book. The author gives clear instructions and shows good photos of all of the steps. Activates are fun and simple and can get the whole family involved. It defiantly helps that Emily Chen teaches with basic shapes. This book gives good ideas and helpful suggestions."

This book contains instructions for several very cute and relatively simple polymer clay projects. The beginning of the book goes through an explanation of basic tools and techniques required to work with polymer clay, which is useful for beginners. There are step-by-step instructions for each of the 20 projects, and each set of instructions contains both written prompts and colorful, high-quality photographs to help illustrate each step. The projects themselves are adorable, and I have enjoyed trying my hand at making them. I would recommend this book especially for beginners in working with polymer clay, but I imagine anyone could derive inspiration from the projects and techniques presented.

I love this book. I've been using polymer clay for a year or two. This book just looked so cute. The content doesn't disappoint. The pictures are close up, clear and plentiful. The instructions are equally clear. I sat with my 16 year old daughter ND her friends and made lot of these project. Soooo much fun!

Bought this for my 12 year old daughter who has recently developed a keen interest in polymer clay. She loves this book! She has already made several things from it and has made her own creations based on some of the techniques. Instructions are clear with large colorful pictures. The items are all so ridiculously cute and she says it has helped her in making faces cute, not creepy LOL.

Excellent for beginners and kids. Cute easy fun

My 11 year old daughter when through a polymer clay phase so I purchased this book for her. At the time, the book was $19.99. A bit pricey but it kept her entertained. The book is well illustrated and easy for kids to follow. She made a lot of the creations from this book and I was amazed that she was able to do it herself. After making the clay animations, she baked them and put a magnetic piece behind them. They are now on our fridge, proudly displayed.

My daughter (age 9) was able to follow the directions in this book to create super cute creations! She made so many little figurines and turned some in to beads for handmade jewelry! Very nice book with easy to follow pictures and instructions and great tips, too!

I bought my partner's daughter polymer clay and this book for her birthday and she LOVES it! The pictures are gorgeous and each project is one she wants to make. I compared quite a few books before purchasing, and am glad I made the decision I did.

Purchased this for my 10yr as a gift for her birthday with polymer clay and tools. And must say this book is really great for beginners and kids. It has detailed step by steps with images. And the characters are super adorable!

This is a lovely book & easy to follow instructions - lots of Interesting information as well to help with other projects. Highly recommend both the book and the seller.
