Seachem Cichlid Trace 250 mL / 8.5 fl. oz.

This seems to be really good for my Malawi Cichlids. The color of my fish seems to be a lot better then what it used to be. This product can stain (I think it has iodine in it) so watch out on where you let it drip. It leaked a bit under my cabinet and turned some papers a rust color. Not a big deal--just a FTI. Also, after you open the bottle and it is exposed to air, the inside of the cap has an insert that will turn almost black. Don't worry--this is a normal reaction.

LFS doesn’t carry the product. I have always used this product, farm raised stock or not..they thrive

I add some anytime I do water changes or adding new fish. I have an over stocked peacock and Hap tank. I’ve noticed that since using this stuff they aren’t as aggressive towards one another. And my timid clown loaches are out swimming more. Fins do seem to heal faster and their colors are looking vibrant. I use this on my South American cichlids as well and same results. I do want to mention that I partner this bottle with Ich X and Fritz Monster360. Perhaps using all three has elevated it’s quality.
