Plush Cat House with Cats - Five (5) Stuffed Animal Cats in Play Kitten House Carrying Case

Worth all five stars, this toy is very nice, especially for the price. It's made in China, which has been problematic in other toys, but I detect no odd smell or cautionary issues. Got it for my 3 year-old grand daughter for when she sleeps over and forgets her animals at home. These kitties, and there are FIVE of them, are larger than I expected. They are as soft as baby duck down and each is a different, engaging color. Cute faces, pink ears. Not overly stuffed. The little house they live in has front windows for them to stick out of and a rear door. It's also soft, and I'd say, spongeable for spot cleaning. The tags don't say washable, so I'd guess they can't be put in the washing machine. I wouldn't give them to an under 3 year-old since the eyes are tiny and glued in. They're glued well, but if a child mouthed them, I think they'd come loose. I'd buy this again for a casual birthday party gift or a treat for any little girl, or boy, for that matter. Unless you have real aversions to imports, this is a good one to bookmark for last-minute gifting.

My 3 yr old granddaughter is obsessed with cats, and has two stuffed cats that she carries with her everywhere....one to take to daycare with her, and one to stay at home. So plush cats are always a hit with her. I gave her this "little house full of baby kitties" for her 3rd birthday recently, and she went wild! It was the only gift she wanted to play with! She has a new baby brother, so baby kitties for her bigger kitties fit right in, and gave her a chance to be "mommy" too. And they can play peek-a-boo out the little windows, and go in and out the little door in the back, and all the babies and one of her bigger kitties can all fit in the house. This was a huge hit, and well worth the money! They are so soft and adorable! Thanks for such a cute and well-made product!

My daughter loves kitty stuffys. This was the perfect gift on Christmas morning, 3 years ago, when she was 7. She still has it and still loves it. It is still in great shape. It hasn't fallen apart or anything like that. It's so cute how she carries this around with all of the kitties sticking out of it.

I purchased this for my 2 year old granddaughter who loves anything to do with cats. The cat house and cats are absolutely adorable. The cats are fluffy and soft and fit into the holes in the house well. I have put this away to give as a Christmas gift so my granddaughter hasn't seen it yet, thus I can't comment on her reaction. I know, however, that she will just love it and I am very anxious to see her face when I give it to her. She loves cat so much, to find this I just searched "cat toys for toddlers" and this seemed to me to be the choice that she would love. The toy was somewhat more expensive than similar ones but after reading the reviews this one just seemed to be the best choice and after receiving it, I feel the positive reviews were correct and I feel the extra money spent was well worth it. I am very happy with the purchase.

SUPER cute toy! My daughter (4) loves it. The cats are difficult for her to get back in the hotel (as she calls it). So we just play with them separately and have ditched the carrier.

I have bought the horse barn, the puppies and the tree with the forest animals. Kids love these. I saw the negative reviews for the kittens so I called the manufacturer before ordering. Here is what I learned: - The photo here on the Amazon website is still incorrect (as of Oct. 2013). The photo shows short-haired cats and they have pointy faces (some other reviewers said they looked like rats). - Because of the complaints the manufacturer changed the product. Their fur is now longer (around 1/2 inch) and their faces and bodies are fuller. - They are slightly bigger than the puppies and the horses - The carrier now has a back-door - Apparently there are some retailers that may still have the older model, but most now carry the newer model. Things to know about the carriers for all the animals: - When the carrier arrives it is slightly squished - I just stuffed in some clothes and let it sit a day or two, and when I removed the clothes the carrier was fine. - The velcro on the back door isn't great, I wish they used more to keep the back door shut properly. But my kids were fine with it. To sum up: - If you are giving it to a child that likes kittens, then they will love this. Likewise, horses to a horse lover, puppies to a dog lover. Between the puppies, horses, kittens and tree with the forest animals, if I had to choose, I guess I like the kittens the least. However, again, a child that likes kittens will really like this product!
