Manhattan Single Rocker Cast Metal Wallplate in Aged Bronze

I ordered the single toggle, single duplex outlet, single rocker, and the quadruple toggle switch plates in aged bronze. They feel like good quality switch plates and I'm pleased with my purchase. I wish the company would provide more/better photos of their products in installed in real world environments. The current photos don't do their product justice. They're flat on the front face. There will be gaps between the wall and the switch plate if your walls aren't flat and planar, as these metal switch plates won't bend like the plastic ones. They have a satin gloss sheen, and will blurrily reflect nearby objects. The finish is smooth to the touch. The corners and edges are crisp, but not sharp or uncomfortable when your hand slides over them. The included screws are 1/2" long. 3/4" screws can be found on this site for significantly less than what they'd cost at my local store. Thankfully, the included screws worked for my situation. The paint on the screws is no better or worse than any other switch plate screw. All painted swItch plate screws of any color, brand, style, etc are easy to scratch! Painter's tape over the end of a screwdriver can help prevent scratches, but it's still possible to scratch if you aren't careful. I imagine a dark bronze colored nail polish or model paint could be used to repaint scratched screws, but I've never done so. The color of this finish is a good match for the brown colored Eaton brand switches and outlets available at Lowes. GFCI outlets will fit a single rocker switch plate.

I replaced all the builder grade plates with these antique bronze ones and love the look and quality. I am very pleased with the outcome.

Love the design and color of the covers in this line. Nice simple crisp lines and bevel on the edge. I ordered Triple, double, single duplex and GFCI covers. Finish is a dark bronze and the slight "pitting" marks give them a little texture. The duplex covers seem to be a little larger than standard, closer to a jumbo size. I gave them 4 stars because the screws supplied are junk. They are painted with a gloss brown. The plates have a satin sheen so the screws are much shinier and the paint is easily scraped off during installation. I had to order new bronze color screws to avoid going insane over why companies make nice products and then skimp on the details and ruin the look.

Depending on the light, this looks black. But it is a very deep dark brown. We love it so much better than white.

The wall plate itself is great... but it came open and with only three screws, but requires EIGHT. That means I need to spend $7 to buy more screws, as it isn't worth the hassle of returning.

Bought the double switch cover too. Both look very elegant on the wall.
