I like that it has an actual tweeter, it is not a Hi-fi system but it sounds great and I really enjoy listening to music from it. Great conversation piece at your 80s theme parties.

cd player didn't work, the radio arrived when it was cold outside. by the time the radio was room temp, everything works like new. great buy, thank you

Starting out of the the boom box was great. Enjoyed it a lot. Within two months the treble and bass controls stopped working and the volume does not reach over 50%. Something really broke down somewhere. Must be a chip that operates the controls mentioned above. Tape player doesn’t work anymore as well. Fun machine but beware, the quality is not worth the price. (I normally don’t do reviews but I was pretty disappointed in this purchase). I’ll take the lithium battery out and the rest goes in the garage.

Definitely a poor quality volume level not even close to the old school ones. As an old schooler I was highly disappointed. Spend a few bucks elsewhere don’t throw your $away . I’ve had mine 3 yrs used it maybe 5 times.

Not bad overall, although it is obvious whoever designed it never actually had a 80's boombox. Sound quality is ok, lacking true bass. VU-meters are quite useless, desynchronized from sound and the stepping is too sensitive, typical problem of VU-meters designed with stepping resistors too small vs. the whole range of the input signal. Not adjustable to fix that issue. Cassette player does not have auto reverse and digital counter is totally useless. Whoever designed it doesn't understand how a cassette player works. Function selector display is too dim. Radio does not have shortwave bands. Logo is ugly. Having an external power supply for a boombox is weird and defeats the portability idea when you need to charge it. You could not REALLY find a space inside to put in that switching power supply ?? It is a pretty nice bluetooth stereo speaker with added functionality of a medium value boombox. Would I buy it again ? Probably. In the meantime, I will buy an used JVC Biphonic and stick in a BT module to do it right. Advice to manufacturer: hire some retired 80's electrical engineers that actually used those boom boxes and do it right.

Awesome Radio, I like the quality and all the features. The only thing I don’t like is that it’s not loud like the ones back in the days. Grew buy regardless. I still think this is worth it.

Sound not working

Cassette Player made NOISE, when I got it.......Had to send in for Repair......No Cost, but I had to wait another couple of weeks, before I got it back.....Overall poor quality.....Wouldn't buy another one...

GPO Brooklyn music Boombox has got great sound quality and is robustly built. It is not light and is more on the heavy side.

Brilliant retro product delivered in a tatty product box which took off some of the pleasure as a collector who likes pristine products. This was the only one in stock, apparently.

Fonctionne très bien avec en plus le DAB et le lecteur CD ainsi que bluetooth très pratique et un très bon son!
