How can I purchase more discs when needed?

Online from the company, I assume. Mine broke, I no longer have it.

Is it safe to use for a long time (eg 30-60 minutes)? every other one we've tried either does burn out the motor quickly, or warns about leaving on :(

Absolutely not, I couldn’t imagine using it that long before burning or ripping through skin.
