Perfect for the E46, HVAC controls snap in now and looks great. Love this purchase. I used my original cigarette lighter. Just had to use a straight pick and work the plastic catches into the side of the barrel to hold it in place. Great value for any E46. The fit is perfect. And the functionality is spot on. The next one I do I’m gonna do a D.I.Y. Seems some are having trouble with the cigarette lighter barrel.

Looks nice in my E46 with an Avin Avant 4 stereo installed. I have a wireless CarPlay adapter that used to be in the glove box but now plugs into the USB port of this fascia piece. Not sure I like it being out but is now easier to plug a cord in should I ever need to. I didn’t think it was too flimsy, but certainly bends more than the oem plastic. Required some tension to hold it in place while screwing it down but afterwards it works great. The cigarette lighter socket doesn’t fit the best and I can’t quite push it in far enough that the two teeth grab it, but there is enough friction that it won’t be coming out.

I went without this bracket, because it's slightly expensive. The radio is secured in its own installation. Just squeezing climate control and DSC button row in place works but leaves friction as its only holding point. This bracket not only secures everything in its proper place, cosmetically its just finished what was already a clean factory looking install. You get properly secured climate control, DTS and DSC relocation. Reloates OG charging/cigarette lighter power supply, and gives you a usb charging and usb input. Esthetically it all looks factory. Worth the extra coin.

Easy to install, I like the results it rejuvenates the interior of the car.

This is the second one I bought for my second car. I love it! They fit great work great and look very good. Probably the best option I've found for upgrading to the double DIN stereo in your BMW

I would give this 5 starts however my bottom usb port doesn't work even though i followed instructions and still not getting power from the usb port. However the top one works fantastic, i have it connected to a carplay dongle to the android unit! Gives a great look! I love the look of it, and great quality! Update 8/21 Dynavin sent me a replacement, and now the bottom USB port works! Rating will change to 5!

I ordered this item only to find out it is for a lefthand drive, not a righthand drive. Nowhere does it say what which handthis item is

Looks pretty good and fits well, except I had trouble with fitting the 12v socket. I wish it came with a 12v socket pre-installed. It’s just piece of metal and shouldn’t cost much. Also the quality of plastic seems to not hold up well in long term but so far it’s been fine.
