Very nice quality connector. Kit came with 10 pins (connector only required 9), so there was one extra of each (male and female) to practice with. For crimping the open barrel connectors: I used the 2.8 mm size die for the end which secures the bare wire and then for the part which folds over to hold the insulation I used the 3.4 mm crimping die - worked flawlessly. I ordered a new furnace blower motor that had the wrong connector. It had 6 pins with the same style, but I needed 9. I didn't want to use wire nuts so I looked at all different 9 pin connectors and I guessed right. Then I used an automotive pin removal tool and I planned on using the new pins, but the old ones came out perfect. I plugged them in and it took about 15 minutes. Connector worked good and now I have spare new pins.

used to repair 9 pin connector in a sevcon controller set up (TUG 660E beltloader) the crimp end is not barrel type crimp - its a w style crimp i recommend replacing both end of connector for best fit

Came just as pictured no issues or problems bought the wrong size for ceiling fan but still worked
