Very pleased with this waffle maker
I am really pleased with this waffle maker. I had a much more expensive waffle maker for nearly 15 years, but it finally broke, so I decided to buy this one. I didn’t expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised. Today I made waffles using a simple mixture of eggs, sugar, butter, and self-raising flour. The waffles turned out great, and my whole family was very happy with the results. They are triangular rather than the square waffles you usually buy in shops, but that’s not a problem at all. The machine cooks evenly and doesn’t burn the waffles. Everything came out nicely cooked and tasty. The only downside is the very short power cable. Apart from that, it’s a great waffle maker and I’m very happy with it.

I used it and the result was delicious. The size of 1 waffle is perfect and is going perfect with some chocolate, fruits and ice cream

Delicious Waffles Made Easy and Affordable!
Pros: * Excellent Value for Money: This waffle maker offers fantastic performance and features at a very reasonable price. * Deep Fill Plates for Perfect Waffles: The deep cooking plates allow for thick and fluffy Belgian or American-style waffles with plenty of room for toppings. * Effective Non-Stick Coating: Waffles release easily without sticking, making cooking and cleaning a breeze. * Adjustable Temperature Control: Provides flexibility to achieve your desired level of crispness and browning. * Relatively Quick Cooking Time: The 700W power ensures waffles cook fairly quickly, perfect for a speedy breakfast or treat. * Compact and Easy to Store: Its size makes it easy to store in cupboards without taking up too much space. Cons: * No Timer: Lacks a built-in timer, so you'll need to keep an eye on your waffles to prevent overcooking. * Basic Design: The design is functional but not particularly fancy or high-end in appearance. * Potential for Uneven Cooking (Minor): While generally good, some users might experience slight variations in browning across the waffle depending on batter distribution. Overall: The NETTA Waffle Maker Iron Machine is a fantastic appliance for anyone who loves homemade waffles without wanting to spend a fortune. The deep fill plates create delicious, fluffy waffles, and the non-stick coating makes cooking and cleaning incredibly easy. The adjustable temperature control is a great feature for customizing your waffles. While it lacks a timer and has a basic design, the excellent value for money and the quality of the waffles it produces make this a highly recommended addition to any kitchen. Get ready for tasty and affordable homemade waffles!

Sometimes you do get more than you pay for!
I spent quite a bit of time looking at waffle makers, reading reviews and to be honest, disregarding the cheaper ones out of hand because, you know what they say, buy cheap buy twice. Not an easy task, all I knew after about an hour of looking is that I wanted a maker that made round and not square waffles and I don’t know why. So a little bit more searching and I kept coming back to the Netta machine. It did round waffles and had a 30% reduction down to £25. If it was rubbish I could return it or throw it away. It came well packed but nothing remarkable. I got it out of the boxy, gave the plates a wipe with a damp cloth, dried them, gave them a light oiling and turned it on. The instructions are pretty poor and there are no recipes in the book so I just followed the instructions on the packet of mix that I had bought. Temperature was set to medium high and I waited for the light to go out. Pouring the right amount of mixture is a little bit trial and error so the first one overflowed a little but the mix wiped off easily. There was a faint chemically smell from the machine initially as the machine heated up for the first time but it faded away and did not pass on to the flavour of the waffle. I set the timer for 5 minutes and the waffle turned out nice and light and fluffy. I felt duty bound to quality check the first waffle and was extremely satisfied. I then made the rest of the family theirs and got rave reviews from all of them. It was such a success that we had waffles for breakfast the next day with fresh blueberries (not in the mix) and maple syrup. After 3 waffles, I did lightly oil the plates again using a pastry brush. The Netta machine is nice and solid and after 2 waffle making sessions seems well made and excellent value for money but time will tell. We are not going to have waffles every day or even every week so it is not going to get overly used and I am hopeful it will last a fair while. Getting to the point of the review, if you are in the market for a waffle maker and aren’t planning to go into commercial production, you won’t go far wrong with this waffle maker.

Poor, read reviews
I was looking forward to this cheap and cheerful waffle maker, as I had read the reviews saying that the batter mix leaked under the plates which to be honest didn't concern me as it would be my first waffle maker. Unfortunately I should of taken more notice of reviews stating it wouldn't last long, as 6 waffles in it stopped heating up and only got warm. Last waffle was like a mouse which tasted nice but trying to eat it off the waffle plate (as used the last of the ingredients on this waffle) was a task in itself. Shame it broke as I was enjoying my protein waffles, original price of waffle machine has gone up from £23.79 to nearly £27, the cheek of it...

Best budget waffle maker by far!
Must have spent a few weeks looking at waffle makers, reading reviews including cheaper ones incase they were actually the more premium models on offer. I do love a good bargain especially when it's such good value for money 💰 this one was on offer at the time of purchase. I nearly went with the dual Salter model but reviews put me off, plus my wife really wants round waffle makers. Again the reviews for the dual NETTA model put me off and in the end I decided on this single plate version because it just looked larger and a well made product with really encouraging reviews from customers who are clearly getting the most out of it! I was excited when it arrived, those Amazon boxes are always deceptively large or overkill. I had hoped that they sent me a better model in error on account of the size of the packaging 📦 So I opened it up and wiped the plates clean for the first time with a damp sponge. I read through the manual before anything else. I plugged it in and set the temperature quite high as this is only 700W and waited for it to heat up and using a piece of greaseproof paper applied a little butter, you could use oil or those sprays but I find oil is not right for waffle makers when a dab of butter is more than enough. I have my own recipe for the mix that I had made earlier. The temperature was set to high and after the light went out I poured in the mixture and closed the lid. The first was too thin and the second overflowed leaving a dough edge that was still cooked enough to eat. Eventually, I found a happy medium and one tip dribble your mix over the raised squares as this helps to eliminate holes! My first waffles were too thin or too doughy. My mix was enough for eight servings though, two each for my family. It has taken time to improve the quality and get them more crispy on the outside most of the time, this includes flipping them over as and when necessary! Once they are cooked top with blueberries, syrup and cream and enjoy, we did!
