Great quality, works with ease.
Very happy with this tool kit so far. Just rebuilt the lower end on a yamaha warrior that had been sitting outside for two years. Pulled all the bearings in the lower for replacement with this puller and worked with ease. Little to no wear on the tools used. Would highly recommend for any at home repair mechanic.

Disappointed all the way around
I give this product a 5, ONLY for the design of it, the real disappointment is the number of reviews This OMT product made me very disappointed. Did not expect these type of issues from OMT. The 1st set I had to turn back in for defects. However, this 2nd set is actually worse. The first issue are the diameters of the collets themselves, most were undersized .8mm to 2.2mm. This affects the working range where it was impossible to remove a bearing, one too big, the other to small [1st kit]. Another problem, second issue is the cutting of the collet face itself. They are not 120 deg apart or offset from one another. This causes the collet not to open evenly, more like egg shape [5 of 10]. Thirdly, is the Pin Bolt, they are not heat treated hard on the tips that spreads the collet. Another issues of egg shaping. As per pic, these Pin Bolts where only use once to test the collet spreading and return to their retracted position [all were used to open the collet to 60% of max or approx half way. One could only imaged what these tips would look like after a dozen or less usages. All I can say, this collet set will deteriorate rapidly. Maybe others have had good luck. However, from what little I use it, I would NOT recommend this collet puller set. Hope this helps you.

Decent puller for the $. Slide hammer could be bigger
This is a decent puller for this price. Know what you're buying and don't expect snap on level product here. It's not refined in an amazing case with a lifetime warranty, but it does get the job done, and has a good selection of sizes, especially on the smaller end. The slide hammer is a bit short as most people have said needs to be about 6-8" longer to be perfect, but it still can get the job done. The case is as cheap as you'd expect, it was a small explosion of pieces when i opened the case, but they easily went back to where they were supposed to be. So far I've used it to pull several pocket bearings and bushings, and a couple seals out of a BW-1354 transfer case, and it has done the job well. One bearing was particularly difficult, but it still got the job done with a little heat to the case around the bearing. Would recommend, as long as you're not expecting a $500 tool set for $60.

Great kit.
Worked perfectly on Harley neck bearing races and several wheel bearing races. It’s a good kit and the price was awesome.

Worked great
Worked perfect to remove stubborn clutch rod bearing on my yz250f. Just had to grind down the edge a little to give the lip a little more bite and worked perfectly.

Worse than garbage
How can something be worse than garbage? Because it also wastes your time in addition to not performing the function it was supposed to. I bought this for a specific job. I had two blind bearings to pull, pretty straightforward ones too, and I was successful with zero. A 0% success rate is pretty terrible. Not only are the threads really chattery and rough, still covered in dust from the manufacturing process and sharp as hell, but the puller brace is a joke. It's a floppy mess of loose-fitting pot metal parts that aren't even remotely solid enough to pull a bearing. Before I even loaded up the first attempt, I donned my safety glasses, knowing it was likely this thing would get its final revenge on me by taking me out through the eyeball. As you can see from the picture, the whole thing twisted under any reasonable amount of torque, and now it's permanently bent. How much torque you ask? I dunno, but less than it took to remove that bearing. Now, I know what you're thinking: "but, but, maybe your bearing was really stuck and it was asking too much of this puller to remove it!?" Nope, I ended up fabricobbling a blind puller from a couple washers, some half-inch bolts I had laying around, and a flange puller plate. Pulled that sucker right out. Every time I buy an OMT product, I know I'm taking a gamble, and I've been burned by several of their products in the past. Well, I think this is the last time I wager my time. I suggest you don't waste yours.

Not good for smaller bearings.
This might work fine on larger bearings. On smaller bearings it is useless unless the bearing happens to be attached to a motor or something solid. Trying to use the press part with the legs... yeah the legs are too short for the second to smallest attachment. So IF it was about 5 inches longer I could have pulled the bearing out with the jaws. But it's so short that it bottoms out before you can pull the bearing.

LS ENGINE PILOT BEARING
5.7 LS1 pilot bearing. I jammed in the size that didn’t really fit but a hammer assisted. I’ve been trying to pull this out for 4 days with rental tools and my Amazon set came today and I had it out within an hour. Definitely would recommend!

paid for itself in one use for me
I had to remove a needle bearing from a front differential so I bought and tried this tool. After a light learning curve, I was successful in removing the bearing. I subsequently used it to remove two axle seals in which it worked well. For the time and low amount of effort it took the tool was well worth the investment, I consider it paid for. Depending on the bearing, don't expect the bearing will necessarily survive the extraction as you are pulling on the inner race, but then again it isn't common practice to remove 'good' bearings. Seals will also be damaged, but you should never plan to reuse a seal either. All in all a good tool, made of hardened steel. Comes with a short slide hammer (limited use) and a two jaw puller which works well at a smooth consistent pull not creating shrapnel. FYI you will need about a 1/8" to 3/16" of space minimum behind the bearing/seal for the tool to penetrate and grab.

Excellent bearing puller set – great quality and value
Really impressed with this bearing puller set. The kit comes with everything you need and the quality of the tools is excellent for the price. They feel solid and well-made, and the different size adaptors mean it covers a wide range of jobs. Used it to remove a stubborn bearing and it worked perfectly – saved me a lot of time and effort. Would highly recommend to any home mechanic or professional. Great value for money.

A must have for motorcycle bearings.
Essential item in my garage now following complete bike rebuild including virtually all bearings. A few tips and techniques had to be learned to get the best out of it but overall very positive and good value.
