I usually use another brand of red liner U shaped tape which works really well, however I wanted to try the roll form. I always clean the scalp area that the tape will attach to with alcohol and allow it to dry completely, the tape stayed well on the unit but stayed on my scalp for less than one minute. I have never experienced this before with red liner tape. I will be going back to the brand that works for me.

Barely sticks to the scalp, and is a mountain of pain to separate from its backing compared to the blue roll. Do not buy.

UPDATE MAR 2025: I decided to give this tape another try. This time, the cellophane backing seemed easier to remove by adhering to the system and then rolling the system skin at the edge of the tape so just a small piece of red cellophane loosens and allows to peel it. Every once and a while, it is stubborn and in that case I use a small exacto blade to separate the backing from the glue, being careful not to touch the actual skin. You need good eyesight for this. It is a learning process, but well worth it to have a tape that doesn't leave residue and is so easy to clean on Poly units. I just ordered the wider Mini Tabs. It takes 7 min to put on the tape... 10 min to get it on my head, 5-10 min if I glue the front.Everyone's chemistry is different... the product stuck well to my skin (I use Bold Hold as a skin protect) and while I usually just tape the perimeter; I have used this tape for a day of riding roller coasters in upper 80 degree weather at Disney Parks in Orlando with no issues so long as I add additional tapes down the middle and sides. When using this particular tape on the front... I usually wear the system with bangs and do not show the front hairline as I read it can be "shiny" if used in the front. On days when I want to show the hairline... I use Ghost Bond Premium glue. This glue is easy to remove if the unit is soaked in water overnight. (Actually, most tapes including long term wear Walker Ultra Hold minis will remove easily with no tugging on the poly thin-system at all if the unit is soaked overnight in plain water... if you hit a stubborn spot... just add alcohol to a paper towel and dab it on and it will easily come off... a helpful hint to those newbies struggling and frustrated with the time it takes for glue and tape removal. I NEVER use C-22, there is no reason to, especially with these tapes).OLD REVIEW (July 2024) This tape is very good for daily wear... one or two days max. On the plus side... it is easy to remove from thin skins without the use of solvents and does not leave any sticky residue. It holds well, but a product like Bold Hold or NoSweat is necessary. On the negative side... it is VERY difficult to peel the red plastic backing, so difficult in fact that what should take 10 min to tape a system could take 30min. Totally frustrating and the reason I switched to a different daily wear tape. Sad, because if the backing was easier to remove, I would not hesitate to continue to purchase and use this product as my preferred tape.

Would not buy this ever again. It’s horrible. The only thing it sticks to is itself. Shopping wasn’t fast and then it wouldn’t even stick to the skin. I’ve been wearing wigs for sometime now and I’ve used many tapes and know how to prep the skin and this tape is just a joke.

This item is awful!!!!!All my extensions fell into the sink the first time I washed them!!! Do not buy this tape!!!!!
