I am a very busy person, and honestly don't have the time or patience to research and fix keto bombs or treats. Following a meal plan to stay in ketosis when you are always on the run is hard enough, so when I found these last week, I have to say I was honestly excited. When I first opened the bar, my excitement dropped as they aren't anything like what a protein bar looks like, and biting into it was a weird experience. BUT after remembering why I was eating it and not a regular protein bar, my thoughts changed. They are a bit of an acquired taste, but now after eating them for my mid morning snack for 3 days, I actually look forward to the salted caramel taste! So give them a chance, eating Keto has changed my mindset about how a meal plan should look, and after you eat a couple of these, you too will look forward to the taste! I have yet to taste the other flavors and wish that there was a trial pack with one of each flavor without having to buy the 12 pack... (hint, hint Perfect Keto!). I hear others like the lemon poppy seed, so it might be the next one that lands in my cart. Enjoy!

I am extremely disappointed by the newest perfect keto bar flavors, including this one. I loved the almond brownie bar flavor by this brand, and have eaten many boxes of those! But now the new lemon and salted caramel versions contain MCT oil powder. I can never eat them! I ordered a box full and they are now useless to me. Many people have digestive problems with any form of MCT oil and I can't eat the powder unless I want to be physically sick all day. I hope the manufacturer considers taking the MCT oil powder out of these new flavors of bars. It is totally unnecessary. The almond brownie bars are great and that don't contain that ingredient. Ann

I am a super picky eater and someone trying to implement a keto diet into a busy lifestyle. I need products like the Perfect Keto bar (quality ingredients, keto-friendly, and great tasting) in order to supplement meals or to keep me going throughout a busy workday. These bars make the cut: they're tasty, have a good and palatable consistency, and they both keep hunger at bay and sugar craves under control. They're awesome. Their cost, however, is higher than I would ordinarily like to pay given that they are on the small-side. To be fair, however, one bar can definitely keep one satisfied for some time. But still, the price of the Perfect Keto bars reflects the fact that there isn't much on the market in terms of competition. Until more producers make similar products then supply-and-demand is at work. With that said, I'll buy these bars because they do what I need and they're perfect for the picky eaters of the world. If the price is off-putting and if you're not sure if you'll like these then I definitely suggest trying the Perfect Keto bars. I think that they are worth the effort and I think that most won''t be disappointed!

I have only tried one other low carb bar and it was an Atkins bar. This is the first keto bar I tried. It didn't crumble when I took a bite, but is has a definite chalky texture. The flavor was just ok. I love salted caramel and was excited to try this keto bar. However, I was a bit disappointed. It has just enough sweetness with a nice blend of carmel followed by a hint of salty taste. I did notice a diet like after taste. It does meet my keto needs and keeps me full. I guess I was expecting something different.

We received a $100 Amazon gift card so I thought I'd splurge on these bars and see if I could find something that I could grab and go. I got the Salted Caramel ones which I'd say aren't bad for a dense bar. I've had much worse with ingredients that weren't has good as the ones on the list. It's a good snack. That being said, I was surprised though that when I got my box of 12 that the packaging is a bit misleading in that the wrappers where almost twice the size of the actual bar inside. Every one of them was this way. That was a bit of a shock considering the cost per bar comes out to about $3.33 each and the wrapper was just over half filled. Maybe my box was a fluke but looking at all the pictures of them being held they appear to be more full than mine were. It could be that buying the correct size wrappers and boxes for these would have been more custom and thus more expensive that the average size bar and box packaging. Pros - Flavor was good Macros are great Grab and Go Cons - Misleading packaging size Relatively expensive for what you get If I have another gift card I'll probably try another flavor and see if I like it but will probably stick to making doing the homemade Keto bars to make that $3.33 stretch a bit further per bar.

I've been on the keto diet for six months, so I'm always looking for good, tasty protein bars that have low carbs along with sufficient protein and fat. So I decided to try three flavors of the Perfect Keto bars: Almond Butter Brownie, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Salted Caramel. I know now that one thing should have tipped me off from the product pages on Amazon — there were no pictures of the bars outside the wrapper. Oh, you get the end of one, poking out of the wrapper, but that's it. When my three boxes arrived, I was looking forward to trying them. I opened one box, took out a bar and got my first surprise; the bar was only a little over half the size of the wrapper. I opened all three boxes to see, and they're ALL that way. My photo shows the actual bars next to their packaging. This is a waste of packaging and a deceptive portrayal to the consumer. No wonder the nutrition numbers were so good...it's only HALF A BAR! I opened one of the cookie dough bars and was stunned at how oily, slimy, and misshapen the bar was. It was a disgusting mess to handle. My second photo shows the oil pooled inside the wrapper after the bar was removed. It was a mess. So, small size, unappealing appearance, and yukky texture...I could have still tolerated these bars if the taste was great. But it wasn't. Crumbly, somewhat bitter, and artificial-tasting. Any Quest bar is MUCH better than these. Yes, I tried all three flavors and was not pleased with any of them. This was a doubly expensive lesson for me, since I won't be eating the rest of these things. This is the most disappointing thing I've eaten on the keto diet.

I tried these after I'd been in ketosis around 2 weeks. I had no trouble getting into ketosis, started tracking my macros <10% net carbs on a Monday and was in ketosis by Wednesday afternoon. I was only eating real whole foods. This is the first specialty Keto product I tried and the first MCT oil I tried. I bought them mostly because of the high fiber content and also for an easy snack or meal replacement if I was on the go. Well, I've had 2 now and both times they resulted in awful fatty diarrhea within around 12 hours. Since I stopped eating them, all better again. So it's not the dietary fat from my keto diet causing it (as I worried after reading online) but just this product and most likely the MCT oil in this product. Packaging doesn't say how much MCT oil is in there, but it's the 7th (!) ingredient down the list and mixed with almond butter, tapioca fiber, etc so I figured it would be okay. I can't imaging mixing MCT oil/powder into my coffee...goodness no wonder people on keto have so many issues (google "keto diarrhea"). I chose to order these bars also cause I recognized all the ingredients, but I cannot recommend, just get your fat from whole foods and avocado oil or olive oil. These bars have a very greasy texture (from the MCT oil I'm guessing), but had an okay flavor, similar to any other meal replacement bar in my opinion so not unpleasant to eat...just afterwards...ugh. I'm mostly upset cause they were SO expensive and now I have 10 bars I'm not going to eat. But I suppose lesson learned because I know not to waste my money on other MCT oil products. Ketosis is easy (for me I'm loving it, losing weight, not hungry, not even missing carbs/sugar!), MCT oil is the pits.

They are tasty and and great as a snack or a meal replacement.

Overall, a good bar. I like the texture, however there is a notable aftertaste that I have not encountered in other keto bars I have tried.
