Effective flap disc for grinding metal

Great value for flap-discs!
I've been using these for years for various steel projects. They're quality flap discs that last quite a while. Given their price, they are substantially better than the name-brand discs you can buy at the big box stores. This is my product of choice.

Great Flap Disc
I compared this to a ceramic flap disc of another brand. I was grinding 1/2 by 1 1/2 steel flat bar with some powder coat and these discs gummed up less from the powder coat melting and smearing on the metal than the ceramic disc, and lasted quite long while grinding a bevel on the ends of the flat bar. After grinding welds and contouring the metal for 20 minutes, there was maybe 10 percent wear on the flap disc.
