Colorado 30-90x90mm Straight Spotting Scope with Tripod – Waterproof, Fully Coated Optics, Sunshade, and Carrying Cases

This is a great scope at a very reasonable price. I tested it once on the shooting range and it performed superbly. Very clear view close and far. I could see holes from .223 on white paper at 100 yards on black or white part of the target. Unfortunately I could not see any holes in the orange bulls eye, but that could just be my marksmanship. I could see very clearly at over 500 yards, which is as far as that particular range extends where my view was blocked by a side of the hill. I could see holes on a splatter targets about 300 feet away. Do you realize it comes with a tripod at this price? Really nice tripod, too. Tripod and scope are very light and relatively compact. They each fit into their own zippered bag. I am pleased with this purchase, I see no faults with this scope or tripod.

Great scope, but I must agree with the others... the supplied tripod is weak and flimsy. I used one of my heavier tripods to make up for it. At 100yds, you can easily see the target when zoomed at 30-60x. At 90x, it becomes slightly blurry. 200yds, same thing. I bought some bird splatter targets and you can clearly see what's you're hitting and long distances. My only complaint is the front monocle cover. Do not overtighten the cover. If you do, and you try to unscrew the cover, you will end up unscrewing the entire front monocle. I had to very carefully grip the monocle with a pair of pliers, grip the cover with a antislip pad, and separate the pieces together.

Great value for the money. I upgraded from binoculars, to a table top spotter 20-60x60 and now this large tripod mounted 30-90x90. I absolutely love this larger spotter. I have enjoyed getting up close visuals of my nesting birds and have even spotted foxes and deer from a distance. This is not good for following running animals, at least not for me, however to sit and watch birds in and out of nests or on the water it is great. Good clarity on the lenses, travel bag was included. One nice feature is that it is waterproof so you can set up on a misty day or even stay out in slight rainy weather and not have to worry about water damage. Would highly recommend for an avid backyard birder. There maybe stronger magnification spotters out there but for myself this is perfect.

Very poor quality. View is very blurry even by mid range magnification. I knew it was not 1000 meter quality but was hoping it would work for us at 200 meters. WRONG! Also tripod flimsy and wobbly.

The tripod has phenomenal build quality for the price, it easily stabilizes the optic in moderate winds while fully extended. I stand at 6’2” and it comes right up to my eye. Very stable when not extended all the way. The scope itself is great for the price. Lightweight and very clear and easy to focus. I recommend getting a higher quality case to transport if you’re using it in the woods like I am.

With some slight improvements to the optics, tripod and manuals this could be a decent spotting scope Tripod adjustment are somewhat crude and have loose connection between the scope and tripod. Does not as claimed, delivering brighter images in low light conditions. The spotting scope lens are ok at 30X, poor at 60X, and dim and blurred at 90X, and this during daylight hours The fine adjustment on the scope works adequately but with the optics being poor at the higher magnifications make it sort of a moot point. Printing quality of both manuals for the tripod and the telescope is poor quality and hard to read. In addition, the manuals are not model specific, basically, they do not show all the parts or tell you their function or how to use them. Also, the manuals do not provide any examples of how to use the scope. I decided to try and reprint a sharper image of the manuals from the manufacturers site but they were just as blurry there and hard to find. Great spooting scope! Works like a champ! A little wobbly but good enough for doing the job! Highly recomend it if your looking for a great scope!

The scope is unable to securely mount to the tripod. I have to twist the scope on. There is not tightening screw underneath. It fogged up very quickly even though it’s not supposed to. The screw on eye protection is nice and the sunshade works well and is secure. Getting it into the bag is a pain and I’m just pretty upset. The 60 dollar one I bought out performs this one. Pictures and video for you all to view. Retuning right away.

The Barsks30-90x90 is a terrific scope. We purchased the scope for the purpose of viewing animal wildlife on our waterfront property and it has exceeded our expectation in this regard. Our only unhappiness (and we have expressed this to Barska through customer service and have received no answer - and therefore will never buy another Barska product because of the disrespect they have show us) with this product was that the pamphlet for both the scope and the tripod, were for a different scope and tripod model. We have asked for the correct pamphlets to be sent to us, with no reply. As much as we love this scope, Barska has lost a customer.

J'ai offert ce télescope à mon conjoint, on habite près de la mer, il aime identifier les bateaux, navires, transporteurs qui passent devant la maison. Il est très habile pour le régler. Il l'utilise quasi quotidiennement. Quant à moi, je trouve que c'est "trop sensible comme réglage"

Easily assembled and easy to use. Very adjustable and stable. The field of view isn't quite as large as I suspected but that's simply a product of magnification

A part fell off the moment I opened the carrying bag. Not a good start. Spherical abberation is noticeable, you have to practically jam the eyepiece into your eye to get the proper focal plane. The tripod is plastic except for the legs, and not sturdy. Returning it.

so i odered this piece of crap as a gift for my uncle for his birthday and the product is broken the tripod is broken as well as the scope stay far away from that garbarge
