I’ve been purchasing these retainer cleaner tablets consistently for several years now, and they never disappoint. They work incredibly well at keeping my retainers clear and odor-free with very little effort. What keeps me coming back—besides the effectiveness—is that they are priced very competitively compared to name brands found in stores. A repeat order monthly! These clean my Invisalign retainers so well. The water turns blue and when it’s clear, your retainers are clean. They’re easy to use.

This is a very effective appliance cleaner. It works on clear plastic and white nylon items, and is able to get into the nooks and crannies you literally can’t brush clean. It was able to clear up some persisting black staining/contamination in a corner I couldn’t get a brush or pick into, and it refreshes the mouth-feeling and smell. It works better in warmer water (whatever your appliance can take) and foams up/effervesces well for a good start. The blue color persists longer than the instructions indicate, but as long as it’s safe for your appliance to soak extra (sometimes I leave mine in all day while going to work), I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Sometimes, enough time passes for the color to go to clear, but often, in various water sources, the blue doesn’t clear (7 hr soak shown in photo). Highly recommend to soak in clear water for a few minutes after rinsing before wearing again, otherwise there will be a chemical taste. Last issue: some yellowing on nylon appliances doesn’t clear out (brushing doesn’t help, either…).

These tablets work fine enough. However after buying several different brands, Ive come to realize that they're all the same (with the exception of efferdent). The box the tablets come in, the quantity of tablets, and the cost all vary. But the packaging for the tablets, the color, amount of time they take to dissolve, and the quality are all the same. So just buy whatever is cheapest.

I am ~3 months into my Invisalign journey, and retainer cleaning tablets are an essential part of my routine. I go a little overboard, and try and soak my retainers 2-3 times a day (every time I take them out eat at home/work/school). So I have been going through retainer cleaning tablets quickly! Based on reviews, I originally opted for the M3 cleaner that has very positive reviews (more than the invisalign brand), and I LOVED them and even re-ordered them once (and loved them!). Last week I looked to order another box of the M3 cleaning tablets and the price has gone up and there were quite a few *recent* posts about how the formula (including ingredient list) changed. Searching around amazon, I found this more-affordable product, and noticed that the internal packaging looked * identical * to the M3 packaging, and the ingredient list is the same as the old M3 formula list. So I took a chance and bought these! Holding the tablets and packaging side-by-side, I can't tell the difference. The "mint" smell is a little different, but its equally pleasant (and I wash as much of it off before putting it in my mouth anyway!) They function equally as well as the M3 brand, but I save ~6 bucks and got an additional 60? cleaning tablets! In the future, I will continue to just order the more cost effective option. I should note that the package arrived one day later than estimated, but that is not the fault of the product (so I did not include this in the rating). But I learned my lesson - I won't wait until Im down to the last 6 tablets to order refills! Update in 2020: This has been my Go-To for the past year, and it has always been the cheapest (or one of the cheapest) per tablet option every time I have searched for it! Tip: Not revolutionary, but I started cutting the box across the middle and it serves as a holder/dispenser.
