This is a big stiff rod! It is not a trout rod! This is a surf rod big enough and stout enoight to handle 10 to 20 poind fish and cast long distances!! It is a sweet rod but not for fish 4 lbs and down

I have a 5’ telescoping fishing rod. I like it buts it’s more of an ultra light. I wanted something more medium weight. This fit the spec perfectly. I was a bit surprised by the overall quality that is actually quite good.

This is so versatile. I have used it for salt water fishing off docks with spinning reels and on the party boats out of the keys using conventional reels. Me and my two sons have caught over 400 fish this week. The largest yellowtail snapper was a FLAG and this rod handled it well. This is the perfect travel rod. No longer do you have to pay for baggage for your rods, or buy them and give them away when you leave. All three rods worked amazing. I usually don’t write reviews but this product needs to be lauded.

The rod is very poor quality and should not be sold as "carbon fiber", its not stable due to inherently flawed design.

Haven't caught a fish yet, but can tell that this rod is solid! Great compactness to allow carry in my car always... hey, you just never know....lol

Buying sight unseen is always risky, but this pole is exactly what I was hoping for. It’s much longer than the other two telescopic poles I own, and it’s perfect for my new baitcaster reel. It’s light weight, well balanced, and it all collapses down enough to fit in my tackle bag. My fishing gear is in my truck pretty much all year long, because I never know when the opportunity to go fishing will come up.

Love the easy plop in my bag an away to go fishing. It folds out quick and I'm dipping my worms faster then they'd like. But haven't caught a fish yet with it, might be Fisher woman malfunction though, not equipment.

I have not used the rod yet. I bought it for a Canadian fly -in fishing trip i will have an update after the trip.

I was using the Maxcatch Stalker Telescopic, but it is no longer on sale so I bought this rod. I compared the photos on Amazon and thought it looked pretty similar so I bought it. This rod is well balanced and has a very good grip. The flex is consistent and I caught a Chinook salmon with no problems. The rod is a little stiff overall, but it will improve with use. It's a good rod that will last a long time. The balance when bending is great. (⌒^⌒)ｂ

I have not yet try the rod but it looks and feel very well made. it should handle the 40g casting with no problems

Performed very well , fitted with 15lb braid, spinning reel and fluro leaders I netted several fish exceeding the line and rod weight specs . Conveniently packed for road trips in carry on luggage

Good rod, the 7 ft rod is med action.
