Good Product. Read this regarding an Important Setting.
Good product. In the 'Menu', in the 'Save Position' setting, I set mine to the FT (Micro Card) option to bypass the FLASH storage space. The FLASH is the Devices' own built in Storage Space. The FLASH holds 7.82 actual gigabytes of storage space. If the user decides to 'Save Position' to the FLASH, the 7.82GB FLASH storage space fills up, this device will automatically start saving all digital voice recording data to the FT (Micro Card) storage space, located in the Card slot even if FLASH is selected in seting 'Save Position'. The FT (Micro Card) has 116 actual gigabytes of storage space. The AVR (Auto Voice Record) Mode option will not show or display time of individual AVR recordings. Only 1 (clock)time of the day is displayed. This (clock) time of AVR Mode recording, will be shown on the screen to show [when] the user began the AVR (Automatic Voice Record) after depressing the 'REC' button. Be sure to set the sensitivity of voice this device can pick up. Test by talking at various distances at normal peaceful talking. Setting level 1, is the least bit sensitive. Level 1 will pick up sound up to approximately 15 feet away from this device. Level 5 may sence (30) feet away (Indoors) from this device. Give the device one test of sound recording, then connect to the computer, and you will see a folder named 'RECORD'. RECORD folder will have all recordings. The FT storage and FLASH (Micro Card) storage can be easily dragged to the Computer or by 'Copy and Paste' or 'Cut and Paste'. Decide to use .WAV or .MP3. Go through all Settings. 3/April/2025.

Plan on using a LAPEL MIC? Read this First.
*** IF YOU DON'T PLAN ON USING A LAPEL MIC, THIS PRODUCT IS PERFECT FOR YOU.*** IF YOU PLAN ON USING A LAPEL MIC, READ THIS FIRST.I purchased this product and it just arrived today, and I can say that this is DEFINITELY a solid device that can give you $300 recorder quality (if you know how to use it). Unfortunately, many people have given sub-par reviews due to the low volume when recording with a lapel mic (and MONO audio) compared to recording with a speaker. It is undoubtedly true that the volume of the Lapel Mic is SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER - however apart from there being an EASY FIX for this, there is actually good reason for this. Because the Lapel Mic is designed to be closer to the sound source, the gain (device recording volume) is set much quieter which reduces background noise (which is REALLY beneficial for recording in loud settings)However this creates the noticeable problem of "Volume too low" (not as loud as internal speakers) - but the easy way to fix this is to take 3mins to "Normalize" the audio using a FREE audio program like audacity (which cranks it up to max volume). I managed to get the LAPEL mic 2x louder than the internal speaker using this method.=====PICTURE EXPLANATION:=====- If you look at the picture I uploaded, you will see 4 tracks1.)Int-mic (Stereo) - Internal Recorder Mic (No processing)2.)Line-Raw (Mono) - Lapel Mic Recording (No processing)3.)Line-processed(Mono) - Lapel Mic (audio Normalized)4.)Line-processed(Stereo) - Lapel Mic w/ audio Normalized & Converted to StereoWith Track #1 & #2 - you can see that the internal mic is SIGNIFICANTLY louder than the lapel mic - which has volume so low that it barely moves the meter compared to the Int-Mic. This is what people have complained about, the difference in audio volume when using a Lapel Mic.However with about 3mins worth of work, I was able to create Track #3 (Processed Mono Lapel)& Track #4 (Processed Stereo Lapel)And as you can see, the processed lapel mic recordings are now LOUDER than the Internal mic recordings! And I was able to convert this into an MP3 and send it back to my recorder.SOMEONE IS THINKING: Why should I have to do all of that? - This is a VERY affordable recorder, but it is not fair to expect an affordable recorder to have all the bells and whistles as the $300 recorders. There is always some trade off between affordability and functionality. So if you want to bypass the [easy] legwork required to get a High-Quality (and loud) Lapel Recording - just buy yourself a $300 recorder. But if you don't mind taking 3mins to:1.) Upload your Lapel Recording to your Computer2.) Turn up Volume using Free "Audacity" Program3.) Convert to STEREO using Free Audacity ** OPTIONAL **4.) Send back to your Recorder... This product is DEFINITELY for you.=======HOW TO DO IT:1. Record your Audio on your Device2. Connect Device to Computer3. Open the File using Audacity (Free)4. Highlight all the Audio, then go to => Effects => Normalize => (use default settings)** BAM - your audio is just as loud as the internal speaker **- Now, note that the recording is going to be in MONO (coming out of one-side), if you want to convert it to stereo, simple go to Track => New Stereo Track (will create a new track). Copy the Loud Mono Audio, and Paste it onto the New Track** BAM - now you have an extra loud, stereo, Lapel Mic recording that you can now send back to your Recorder (or use in videos, etc)Again these steps are really easy, and I know there are dozens of YouTube tutorials out there showing you how to do this. But if all of this seems like too much trouble for you, this product may not be a good fit for you.But for us normal joe's who want Quality with affordability - this is an awesome product.

A fun idea
I think the review star level is because I had a difficulty using it and figuring it out. It might be fine in the hands of someone far more clever than I.

I saved recording priority to the TF card.
But when I made a new recording (TF card was not inserted) and still in my computer. So how do I edit the recording to save on the TF card? And IF there is no way of getting it saved after the recording has been stopped, Then that is a huge con. Cause accidents happen all the time. And a recording device that holds crucial details should be expected to be able to change/edit the save option. But I have not had ANY problems with this recorder til now. It’s a great device and definitely would recommend if you’re able to change how it’s saved after the recording is stopped. I appreciate if someone could help me with this issue. Thank you!
