Swerve Sweets Pancake & Waffle Mix 300 g, Low Carb, No Sugar Added, Gluten Free

This pancake mix was much better than I anticipated! Easy enough to prepare. I replaced melted butter for the oil. I found the batter to be a little too thick so I thinned it down with a littler water Ann's it didn't change the flavor just the consistency and this made the batter spread out evenly on the griddle.Taste and texture wise I found it to be very pleasing. The cakes are not quite as fluffy as the other mixes but them this isn't gluten bleached wheat flour either. The tadye is really good, a bit nutty from the almond flour, again i don't mind that flavor. All and all i think it's a delicious alternative to gluten free and it's a great keto pancake mix. I do think it's a little expensive but then it does screwed ne the trouble of doing it from complete scratch. Yes I'll be purchasing again.

WOW! I was not expecting them to taste at all as good as they did! I was so impressed I just ordered three (3) more boxes!!!The pancakes have a buttery- eggy flavor very similar to Hungry Jacks Pancake Mix. They are not gritty and the textures is not grainy and there is no chemical after taste to my taste...I fixed the whole package and found that scrambling the 5 eggs first helped blend the mix better. For the oil, I used EVOO but, I will try coconut oil next time.One full box made 16 - 5" pancakes so, if you made 4" pancakes you would get 20 out of one box!FYI ~ there are 11 net carbs in 2 pancakes so, you have to limit your serving size but, after eating no bread for four (4) months and just recently allowing myself one (1) low carb tortilla a week; having a Keto friendly pancake was wonderful! ~ ENJOY!Finally, I am looking forward to trying the chocolate cake mix next week... Yes, they also make a chocolate cake mix! Tempting? :-)

As mentioned in previous reviews, these have 11 grams of net carbs per two pancakes. So, for the whole box that would be 110 net carbs, being the whole box will make 20 pancakes. I made six waffles, divided by 110 = about 18.2 net carbs. Quite a bit if you are watching your carbs, which I try to do. As for taste, they are pretty good and have the same texture and chew as a regular waffle. Two thumbs up for that. The next time I make them, I will add some Swerve powdered sugar and vanilla extract for additional sweetness and taste. That would make them perfect and more like regular tasting waffles. Because, let's face it, a store bought waffle can be eaten plain because it has a hint of sweetness to it. I ate one waffle, with sugar free syrup, and had a small glass of almond milk. Truly full. I will definitely buy this item again. Love it! 🥞

From time to time I just want a good ol breakfast not dominated by eggs & meat! These aren't perfect but they aren't terrible. I'm not hard core keto so them not being keto doesn't really bother me. I will say texture wise the cake was eggy, flavor wasn't bad, may want to add vanilla. Price is high but liked it. I won't be throwing the box out like i have done with plenty other keto "snacks"

Mmmmmmm!! This mix is so good. I made waffles in my waffle iron, and they were thick and fluffy and sweet! I didn’t even need syrup. Next time I’m just going to add blueberries and a little butter! I got about 7-8 belgian style waffles out of the entire box. I only eat 1/4 to 1/2 of a waffle at a meal due to the carbs. If you are doing Keto, there are apx. 16 net carbs in one waffle depending on the size. The box has ten servings, so just figure yours based on the size. I cooked up the whole box and put them in the freezer. Now I can just pop them in the toaster! My only complaint is that for the price, you don’t get a whole lot of mix, but I sort of expect that from specialty foods.
