Pure nostalgia I can share with the kids
I remember K’Nex from when I was a lad, 20 odd years ago and it hasn’t changed a bit (bar maybe a few micro pieces). I’m finally able to indulge in nostalgia and share the same creative engineering fun with my children.This stuff will take you as far as your imagination will stretch & then some. There’s plenty of guides on Instructables and other websites that display some of the mad things you can create.My daughter is especially fond of the race car, using the bendy rods. Same fantastic quality as I remember, and for 200+ pieces it’s a fairly good price.This is only the start of what I plan to be a large collection for my kids, and hopefully their kids too.

'522' pieces
Great first set for my 5 year old but Lots of the '522' pieces are tiny, hardly used pieces making it difficult to make more than any one figure at a time. They should be replaces with more lengths and connections rather than being used as filler to put a larger number on the side of the box

very disappointing for a kids birthday gift...hundreds of spacers and very few actual usable long bits...do NOT get this expecting more because you too will have a job explaining to a disheartened child

Underwhelming
Might be my own fault but 500 pieces and a big box was a lot bigger in my minds eye when ordering.
