XLCCP-N01 Kettenstrebenschutz (Schwarz)

I recently started going to a very bumpy and jumpy trail called jonathan dickinson state park with my dad. I noticed because I have a hardtail now that it is very loud back there. Every time I landed a jump or went over a small bump there would be chain slap. I got a $10 gift card for amazon so I thought this would be a nice upgrade. Right when I got it ( which was suprisingly quick) I put it on. It went on a little tight but that was nice because it doesnt fall off ever. We went to the trails again and I had to look back to even see if my chain was there it was so quiet! Very nice upgrade if you have chain slapping.

A definite improvement in chain rattle. I started riding single track and the loudest noise you could hear was my chain beating up the chainstay...VERY noisy. Installed this protector, which by the way was very easy to do, and VOILA!! 90 percent less noise. Absolutely wonderful! Smoothing out the installation with the Velcro was not difficult, just be patient and start on one end and pull apart, pull tight, and press together. Very effective.

Could be a bit bigger at the widest point of the neoprene as it's a bit hard to make it fit my Diamondback Overdrive 29er. Hence the 4/5 stars. Can't really complain much at this price point though.

I ordered two of these. I have chainstays that are not the same width front-to-back (for a stylish look). I was pleased that this had a wide strip of Velcro that was able to accommodate the thick and thin parts of my chainstays. It stretched to mold quickly and easily. They look very nice on my matte black mountain bike. I have gotten a lot of compliments. I also appreciate that they don't have a huge, enormous logo on the side. The "XLC" doesn't stand out too much.

As described. Great price, nice fit, looks good & it quieted down my chain smacking. It also really cleaned up that section of my bike where the chain had rubbed off some paint.

Nice quality and look but it is too small for a Specialized Pitch Sport mountainbike. I ended up cutting it shorter lengthwise and had to stretch it quite a bit to put it on. See the photo. I'm not sure where I can find a much larger size...anyone?

I think it should be half the price, but whatever. 3.5 stars.

Does it s job very well. Snug fit on my Diamondback Overdrive which does not have a very big chainstay.

XLC Kettenstrebenschutz Neopren CP-N01, schwarz, 2500800000 Der Kettenstrebenschutz ist für mein Bike (Cube LTD Pro) knapp bemessen.Bei den Haltern der Züge wird es wirklich sehr sehr knapp - mit kleinen Ein- bzw. Ausschnitten passet er aber.Die Halter habe ich vorher nicht bedacht - dafür kann aber der Kettenstrebenschutz nichts (hab da falsch gemessen).Optisch macht er sich ganz gut und er erfüllt auch seinen Zweck. Dimensioni del paracatena davvero troppo risicate, non sono riuscito ad installarlo sulla mia Rockrider XC120, prodotto sconsigliato, necessita di foderi del carro sottilissimi per essere montato. L'oggetto è poco elastico ed è largo 26cm, ma riesce a coprire una circonferenza di 7.7cm nella parte più alta (destra) e 5.4 in quella più bassa (sinistra), considerando la striscia in velcro adesivo.

Un pessimo prodotto che fortunatamente costa anche poco. Poco elastico, non adatto al carro posteriore nonostante le dimensioni siano compatibili (almeno come da descrizione Amazon).Sconsiglio se non per bici con carro veramente risicato e sottile, viceversa non compratela e puntate ad altro.

Nutze diesen Kettenstrebenschutz für mein Mountainbike, da im Gelände sonst immer die Kette an den Rahmen schlägt und wer beschädigt sein teures Rad schon gerne. :) Daher dieser Kettenstrebenschutz -> Und ich bin top zufrieden.Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen!Positiv:+Angenehmes Material+Günstig+Tolle Verarbeitungsqualität+Hält Bombenfest am Rad+Verhindert Beschädigungen+Unempfindlich und leicht zu reinigen+Perfekte Größe, sollte an die meisten Räder passenNegativ:-nichts zu bemängelnFazit: Uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung meinerseits :-)
