Works great for anxious dogs!
I tried these on a whim to help my dogs relax at night and help them adjust to their new time zone. They work great for fireworks and loud events such as parties. Also for nail trimming. The chunks do have an odd smell to them but the dogs don't seem to mind at all. They haven't caused any gastric issues with my dogs. The bottle lasts a long time if you only have one dog. I have three, so I usually buy one a month. Once the dose is given, my pups are usually out and sleeping within an hour. If you have an older dog that isn't getting quality sleep at night, I think they might help for that as well. My past elderly pet had become restless at night and these worked for her as well. She had suffered with skin allergies all of her life, so I was happy I found something that helped her rest without making her have an allergy flare up.

These work fine to calm my Malinois during thunderstorms.
My Belgian Malinois (AKA Maligator) can be a very scary girl to strangers and anyone she doesn't know if she isn't around me, my Sweetie or a good friend of mine who stays on my property. And as a former Military Veteran like myself, she's been around. When I adopted her I was told she saw action overseas as well as spending time as a K9 for a LEO agency here in AZ, so we have things in common. But it wasn't until the summer monsoons started up that I learned how MUCH we have in common. I was born in AZ and am familiar with the racket the monsoon can bring with the thunder and I've been around a LOT of shooting and cannon fire, but unless it is coming MY way, I'm not too bothered by it. (Just don't creep up behind me.) Evidently, my Pup, Lana, doesn't fare so well with the noises, though, because as soon as the thunder starts, she becomes VERY skittish and cannot stay still. She wants to hide and I can appreciate that. It turns out we both have PTS but she doesn't know how to work hers out so I bought theses chews hoping to give her some relief. It turns out that if I give her three, she gets pretty mellow as long as my Sweetie or I can hold her and rub her ears. Four chews and she is a catatonic zombie and I won't do that to her. So, YES, I can recommend these chews if your Pup is skittish around loud noises but read the instructions and administer per the directions. Lana should get four based on weight (She's a BIG Maligator for her size!) but like I said, I don't want her to be totally doped up. These also work around the 4th of July and New Years when people set off fireworks. Give them a try. I think they might solve most problems for Pups with fears of loud noises and probably other fears like riding in a car when going on vacation and such. Good Luck and Good Health to your Pup. H and Lana.

Didnโt help my Yorkies anxiety
I have a 6 pound Yorkshire terrier. She dislikes loud noises and car rides. She is so tiny that the very first time, I only gave her a 1/4 piece of the thunder bites, dog calming chews. The second time she got a chew, my husband gave her the entire chew. I had hoped that these dog calming chews would help with her anxiety. Whether she ate a portion or a full chew It didnโt make a noticeable difference. You get a nice sized amount in the container and it stores easily. These chews are not too hard or too soft. She ate it without a problem and she liked the way it tasted. I will be looking for another option to help calm my dog during car rides, etc. I will most likely call my veterinarian office for a prescription medication. I purchased these because I think she is too small to take one of the brands that offered a calming solution with CBD/THC or hemp listed in the ingredients. These donโt contain any of the above ingredients.

Great for separation anxiety. My German Shepherd loves them.
I have a German Shepherd with separation anxiety. You would think he would be worried about things like thunder and fireworks, but he is not. He just does not like for me to leave his sight. This is a new issue for him, so I am hoping it is a phase, but it was messing with my sleep because he would howl or moan when it was bedtime. He is only 65 pounds and could take four, but I have tried three and they work just as well. He is chill and relaxed and not drugged. Still alert enough to go inspect things outside with me after he takes it. Easy to use because he thinks he is getting a great treat. So apparently he thinks it tastes good. Now that means I am also getting sleep because I don't worry about him being sad or crying because he can't see me.

Not that effective
This is an okay product, but very light to a energetic/stressed dog. Although a natural product is supposed to be lighter, there are other non-chemical/non-pharmaceutical options that better do the trick, at least to my dog. Won't say that it was a waste of money, but I don't plan on buying it again.

They really work!
I live in FL where we often have dramatic/loud thunderstorms and lightening & 2 of my poms in particular are super sensitive and get anxiety/terrified during thunderstorms. They will cling to me and shake/pant. These chews have been a GAME CHANGER. They work so well for my pooches, I give them each 1 chew if I see a storm coming or if itโs already started and it calms them down/helps them to ignore whatโs happening outside. They also kick in quickly. I have it on subscribe and save. Highly recommended! Finally something that actually works consistently ๐!

Bad odor
This is the third or fourth time Iโve bought this product. Itโs worked well for calming my dog, especially during thunderstorms. I received a new order a few days ago and Iโm very disappointed in the smell of the product. It honestly smells like garbage. This has not been the case with former orders. Iโm afraid to even consider giving it to my dog and have found the three times Iโve opened the top. The odor remains in the room for hours.

HUGE improvement for my dog's anxiety
We have tried so many other natural calming chews, this one is definitely the best. It's not a magic cure all, but it is a huge improvement, with my pup not as anxious nor does her anxiety episodes last as long. However, we had a bad thunderstorm before dawn, did not know it was in the forecast, and she had full blown episode. She had a dose 12 hours earlier for a storm that came & went quickly, she did well with that one. So the 12 hours between doses, as it states in the directions, is right on the money. I had received small supply from our vet, so once I knew it worked, I bought the 180 count. If you're feeling uncertain about trying this for your pet, talk to your vet. The photo was taken when she was hiding in the closet dealing with her PTSD, no storms, just scared we might get one. I tried everything to make her comfortable, to no avail. Very happy we discovered this product.

Worth trying!
I got these for my dog who barks at everything and he is much calmer and easier train after getting this treat. I gave some to our other dog who is terrified of getting her nails cut and she laid there and let me trim her nails by myself! Usually someone has to hold her down while another person trims. Amazing!

WORKS well!
This is the 2nd calming chew I have tried for my 2 JRTs. It works better than another brand, though it doesnโt eradicate the anxiety & stress entirely. I doubt anything will entirely take it away, but we definitely notice a significant effect compared to another brand.

My dog doesn't like the taste, but...
My dog doesn't like the taste, so I have to make him eat them, but they work so well. We do dog shows and he gets nervous sometimes, and these calm him right down.
