For anyone that has bought one of those cheap skipping ropes from sportsdirect, you really will notice the difference for not much more in price.Being a person of smaller height, I always had to fold knots into the rope on the cheaper ropes to shorten the length. They would also be very heavy and limited the "top speed" at which to skip.This bear grip brand offers an innovative way to secure any excess rope neatly and securely. There is certainly enough length to cater for the taller person and it is light and malleable enough to get a good workout. Unlike some of the other plasticky ropes that dont really bend, causing an odd skipping action, the material is strong but also malleable to allow a smooth skip. This is also in part due to the fluid rotation mechanism present at the handles meaning that the rope wont twist awkwardly.Very innovative design, just like the bear grip weight pads that I also own. In the few days I have owned this I have already used it more than my old skipping rope that was a pain to use times it found its way in the bin.I ordered the rope on a Friday and got it on a Monday, which is pretty impressive considering this isnt an Amazon fulfilled item.Finally, there is the price, great value for money consider the innovation and seemingly quality materials. At this price, you can easily give it a go.

The saying, 'Buy Cheap, Buy Twice', does not apply here.Yes this jump rope is cheap compared to many available out here but it is really good quality. I wanted a lighter rope to jump with as i only had a 1lb jump rope and its hard to get up to a good speed without burning out my shoulders and arms first. This rope is great as it takes less effort to spin it but you will still get a great cardio workout. This rope is also ideal for warm ups and cool downs too.It is very easy to adjust the size of the rope to set it up for your height plus you get a spare rope and some spare screws in case you lose one.As per usual the Bear Grips customer service is second to none.

It's a sturdy, thin, light rope but as a complete novice I couldn't get used to it. The metal screw hit my hand a couple of times as the rope got caught. That smarts a little. Looks well made.Doesn't come with instructions for adjustments. Does come with a bag of bits.

However as running, cycling or rowing can be sometimes monotonous, I wanted to try ropes with best value for money for cardio exercise.I was really delighted when I got these Bear Grip Skipping Ropes.The best feature is that you can easily adjust the length of the rope (with self-locking system) depending on your height.The handles are solid, light and anti slip if you tend to sweat a lot.There is a spare rope in case there is an issue and the little extra is the bag where you can store the ropes to keep them in order.Top quality product and seems to be long lasting.Recommend Bear Grip Skipping Rope to everyone!

This rope allows you to quickly and conveniently adjust the rope length with a one-push locking mechanism, hiding the remainder of the rope in the strong, yet lightweight handles. Feels premium for the price and the ball bearing rotational movement is smooth, allowing you just pick up and skip without thinking too much about the weight of the handles and the length of the rope. Comes with a convenient bag and a spare rope too! Best rope I've tried for the price.

It's my second one. Bought it again thinking that I might have done something wrong with the handle. However, this one didn't last 2 months before mechanism in handles stopped working and cable gets loose whilst skipping. Save your time, spend few quids more and get one that would actually last.

Its good for the price but this thing aint gonna lost if your using it on concrete. But it is very lightweight. it comes with a bag, ev=xtra rope wire, screws. so it aint too bad

Die Schrauben müssen sehr fest gedreht werden. Bei Double Unders überschlägt sich das Seil leicht über die Hand, also nicht ideal für viele Wiederholungen
