I am pretty impressed by this pool thermometer. It feels really solid and looks to be well built. The display is clear and easy to read even in bright light. I set it next to a digital thermometer we had on hand to test the accuracy and it reads out within 1 degree Fahrenheit which is close enough for swimming pool use. With an IPX8 rating it is supposed to be ok underwater for a short time which happens often in a swimming pool. I have submerged it underwater a few times with no problems. There is a soft plastic boot that covers the USB C charging port. A short USB charging cable is included. I haven't had it long enough to comment on how long the rechargeable battery runs between charges but so far it seems fine.

I'm very happy with this choice of pool thermometer. Thermometer feels quality-built and solid. It has some weight to it and doesn't feel like cheap plastic. It comes with a USB charging cable and a nice long cord to attach to the pool side and keep the thermometer from drifting into a hidden corner or the skimmers. I charged it fully before dropping it in the pool. I like the fact that it gives the temp in both fahrenheit and celsius. So far temperature readings have been accurate and the digital readout is clear and easy to read. I may buy a second one for our attached spa!

I compared it to a couple of other thermometers I have and it's spot on. The thermometer can be recharged via USB C (cable included). I'm not sure how long a charge lasts but after 2 days the battery display still shows fully charged. We use the thermometer in our hot tub. We keep the cover on it when it's not in use. Most of the newer digital thermometers are solar powered. There isn't much sunlight available under a hot tub cover. That's not an issue with this thermometer. Very pleased..

Nice simple pool water thermometer. I like that it’s rechargeable because we don’t always have enough sun to power a solar version. Screen is easy to read without having to pull it up out of the water. Very convenient.

Clear display battery seems to run for at least two weeks. Well made if your looking for a pool thermometer look no further.

I have run through 4 of these electric pool thermometers and this is by far the best one, so far. The read out is very clear and it is accurate. I started the thermometer up inside the house and had other thermometers near it and they all read the same temperature, which tells me it is accurate. Once in the pool it immediately registered the water temperature and was within 1 degree of the others.Would recommend and would buy again.

I love this thermometer, it is easy to charge, the outlet has a little silicone cover that keeps it sealed when immersed in water. So far it seems to read the temperature pretty accurately.
