I like it -- 2018 (6th Gen) bought in Aug 2019
This was the current generation when i bought it, but is already the old version a month later.I do like this iPad (6th Generation) very much.My boss gave me the 1st generation some years ago, and it was worthless within 2 years. Apple stopped supporting it completely, usable apps became impossible to find, and it couldn't even update to a newer iOS version -- simple web pages were impossible to visit without crashing; and it was thick and heavy. But while it was new, it was nifty -- impossible to hold up with one hand and read though. So this version is from like from 8 years later -- most of the apps work without crashing. The body is thinner, and lighter. I can't say I enjoy holding it up to read, it's still too heavy for that, but it is definitely lighter. I use Procreate to doodle and Chrome works well. I can text and do facebook, etc. I did not get a keyboard or stand for it yet, because they are too expensive, and I already have a laptop. But it's good for taking to the treadmill or laying in bed and goofing off -- better than staring at my tiny iPhone. The battery isn't quite as good and long as expected, but it is better than iPhone. The biggest problem I have is that there is no front speaker, so when calling my old mom on Facetime, it looks good, but she has a hard time hearing me.I edited a video together using iMovie and that worked really really well. But the audio I recorded -- well I had to reshoot the video and make an effort to speak into the top/side where the speaker is. Not convenient. This iPad came with a large wall plug that works fine with its lightning cord. There were no headphones included, which was disappointing. The apple earpods sound great, but they are cheap as crap and break very easily within months. I've been through many.I do plan on getting an iPencil -- the add-on stylus, but $99 is too much still. Apparently, they made it so that the original iPencil will work with this iPad. But the new iPad works with the improved, magnetic, wireless charging iPencil 2. Kind of a rip. I think there might be a magnetic edge in this iPad 6, but I can't tell for sure.I like it; am glad I have it as an option. I used it in the hospital. Typing without a keyboard is horrible, editing text is horrible. Drawing is fantastic. It's lighter, but not light enough yet. The fingerprint thing is slow and I hope they do away with it. There is more of a black edge around the screen on this 6th 2018 version than on the new 2019 version. Oh, well, I got it for cheaper than the new version, so I'm satisfied. Apple is an innovative company, but their products are designed for incrementalism, and marketing of "don't you wish you had this extra update that you won't ever have with the one we just sold you...?" Pretty obnoxious and I expect it to become obsolete within 6 years.Oh, the glass has a somewhat minor scratch on it, after about a month of use. I've dropped it a couple times with no protector and it has been fine. Again, the worst design flaw so far is just that the microphone is on the top/back and doesn't pick up sound as well as my old iPhone 6S Plus does.

My New iPad!
Wow! After using my iPad for the last (who knows how many) years, I was so pleased with this new and improved model.First of all, the delivery was outstanding! I ordered it on a Wednesday afternoon. It arrived by noon the following day! Shipping was free with Prime. I just wasn't expecting to find next day delivery free!It arrived in Apple's iconic white box. I opened it up, turned it on, and set up was complete within about 20 minutes. The only time consuming task was to organize my apps as they are on my other devices. That took a little bit of brain power, (a bit organizationally challenged!) but before long, things were as I wanted them.I was so impressed with the display. It is very sharp and crisp. The speed and sensitivity that this iPad have are wonderful.I watched a favorite movie of mine that I had purchased from iTunes years ago. (My Dog Skip) And as I wiped my tears at the the end, it truly had me mesmerized how slick the whole thing is.I was able to access our streaming service and just like everything else, it was effortless and rather addicting! I am disciplining myself to limit my screen time lately, so hopefully I'll remain the boss of my devices, instead of the other way around!I purchased the Apple smart cover to go with it. (midnight blue, in case you're curious) I will leave my review for it as well, but for now, let me just say, it fits beautifully! The color of the iPad itself is Space Grey. I was hesitant, but so happy with my choice. The fingerprints are quite invisible, as opposed to the silver finish I'm used to. It's quite pleasant to look at, which isn't a bad thing!I love the battery life. So far, I've been able to get through my usual book reading, a full length movie, and check my email and visit my favorite sites with plenty of juice to spare. It charges up quickly, although I don't know exactly the time frame, as I usually plug it in at night.Would I recommend this? If you don't have a television in the bedroom and want a small, unobtrusive alternative; if you enjoy reading your books online, but your laptop it too large at times and your smart phone is too small; if you are a bit quirky and love Apple devices, YES, I highly recommend this to you!I'll come back and update my review as time goes on.(I really tried to capture a photo that did justice to the display, but with my lighting, there were all kinds of reflections. Perhaps with my next review!)

User-friendly...you can’t go wrong with an iPad
I’m a huge fan of the Apple iPad. My main observation is the user-friendly qualities. And in the rare instance there’s something you can’t figure out, a quick search on the internet will always resolve your issue quickly and easily. I have tried other brands of tablets and they pale in comparison. I had an original Apple iPad Air and would still be using it but it was only 16 GB. The iOS uses approximately 10 GB so had to upgrade. You can’t go wrong with an iPad!!!

It's a retail, fully sealed, brand new Ipad.
This was a Xmas gift for my child who wore out his Ipad 4 mini. This 6th Gen is a good upgrade, 128GB of storage definitely helps. This seller is solid, they delivered extremenly fast (2 days from order), well packed and in perfect condition. Could not ask for more!
