Harry Potter: The Marauder's Map Guide to Hogwarts (book and wand set)

I was worried about this, as the rating went from As New to Used and I couldn't ascertain what might be doing that. The child who was to get it already had another copy of the book, but the penwand was missing. However, the seller gave me a discount without telling me what was amiss and I had to just accept it may have been the penwand. Much to my relief the Penwand arrived working, but with very low batteries, which we were able to replace. It all worked out well and the book and penwand are much appreciated all round. However, I do feel the seller should have stated/specified what was wrong with the condition in case I decided not to buy. Or perhaps reassured me the penwand was working. I was happy with the price, the packaging and postage at the end of the day.

I purchased this book for my 9’year old daughter who is an avid Harry Potter fan, and she absolutely loves it. The book contains loads of interesting facts about films. However, the best bit is the light up wand and the 4 fold out maps containing details from the official Marauder's Map. Even I thought it was amazing. My 7 year old son, who is also a HP fan wanted to share it with his sister, but she refused to share, so I brought one for him too. Kept him amused for hours and he keeps going back to it. Lovely informative gift and even more exciting having the interactive map. A real winner!

Was a birthday gift so unsure of performance, however, i had a sneak peak before i wrapped it and it looked like a lovely book, great for Potter fans.

This is a fantastic book for any Harry Potter fan. Although it contains loads of interesting facts about the movies the real draw to this set is the light up wand and the 4 fold out maps containing details from the official Marauder's Map. What makes it so much fun is that each of the map pages is full of hidden secrets written in invisible ink that only become clear when you shine the ultraviolet light of the wand over the pages. Feel like Harry as you follow footsteps through the corridors to see who you'll find at the end of the trail and don't forget to look for secret messages and drawings hidden in the artwork. You can even use the invisible ink pen hidden inside the wand to add your own details! There's actually an extra, completely blank, map at the back of the book for you to create your own design and hide personalised secret messages on. There's definitely a lot of fun to be had with this book for kids of all ages, even the adult ones LOL. The batteries in the wand seem to be holding up pretty well so far but you can buy replacements too so this isn't a product with a limited life span and you'll be able to come back to it again and again.

Best ever HP gift!! With this magic want and map you are set for mischief and adventure!! Real magic actually happens when you light up your Wand and shout Lumous!! You will see who's sneaking around Hogwarts. Lots of information about the story and pictures from the movies (Spoiler alert!! for those yet to read all the books.) Great price, nice quality. I have bought 4 of these for different children and all of their mum's have called to say how much their child has loved it!! Must have!!

My nephew loved this. He absolutely adored using the wand to find the footprints and locate who was in Hogwarts. Easily one of the best gifts for any child that loves Harry Potter.

Fantastic gift. Bought this for adult family member as she loves Harry Potter & grew up with the books & movies. I loved the look of this & the value for money is excellent. I know this gift is going to be so well received & it’s definitely not just for kids, actually it’s more appropriate for adults as there is spoilers within the map & if young children having either read or watched all the books/movies then they will be upset finding out about character deaths etc.

Um ótimo item para os fãs de Harry Potter. O livro é muito interessante com os vários textos sobre Hogwarts e o mapa com a caneta UV funciona muito bem. Tal como no filme vê-se a a aparecer no mapa as pegadas das personagens. Aconselho a compra!

子供がハリーポッターが好きなので、クリスマスプレゼントに用意しました。 プレゼントを開けて喜んだのもつかのも、杖が機能しない。 この本は忍びの地図になっていて、杖に特殊インクのマーカーがついていて、更にライトがつくようになっています。 書いた絵や字がライトによって初めて浮かび上がるというものです（よくありますが） ライトが全くつかずで（最初に入っている電池がまずつかず）電池を買い直しましたが、やはりつかず、 杖の不良でした。子供が「サンタさんが、壊れておもちゃを送ってきたの？」と聞いてくるのが、辛かったです。 良品と交換を希望しましたが、チェックができないんでしょうね。返金にしかならず、クリスマスプレゼントや大切なプレゼントには絶対選ばない方がよいです。

Livro interativo muito bonito e bem acabado. As ilustrações são maravilhosas! Dentro tem vários pedaços do mapa do maroto com diversas mensagens, desenhos e pegadas escondidas que só aparecem com a luz da varinha. Recomendo usar a varinha no escuro ou pouca luz, pois a luz azul é bem fraca. Dentro da varinha tem uma canetinha com tinta invisível escondida!

Super product for Harry Potter fans. My son has spent hours upon hours pouring over the maps and pages. A few points: ▪︎The wand did seem to stop working at one point early on but we switched the batteries around and its been going strong ever since. ▪︎My son is 7 and has read the first 3 books and watched the 3 movies, although there are spoilers it hasn't seemed to bother him as he's watched HP quizzes etc which have also had spoilers. He's desperate for the next book. Great purchase. Grab one for your HP fans.
