The fountain died. Replacement was easy and animals are happy. There's a little less noise.

The last fountain I had for my cats sounded like there was a waterfall in the house, very splashy and not at all quiet. I was pleasantly surprised to plug this one in and hear how quiet it is. When I first unboxed this fountain, I disassembled every piece so I could wash it. I thought it was a little tricky to get back together at first but once I got it, I realized it was pretty obvious. It comes with a filter and they sell extra filters separately from this seller. Once I got it all back together, I plugged it in and it started right up. The water doesn't fall very far into the bowl so it doesn't splash much. The motor is really very quiet so that's a plus. It has an LED light that lights up but the bulb is very tiny so it's not blinding. It would make a really great nightlight in the kitchen, which is where we're putting ours. The biggest stamp of approval, of course, comes from the cats who sniffed it a bit and seemed unsure at first. But we're a couple days in now and they're drinking out of it just fine. I just like having water that cycles through a filter and is fresh all the time. The bowl is big enough that I don't need to refill it super often but small enough that they're frequently getting fresh water. The instructions say to clean the motor every two weeks and that may be possible to stretch longer by using bottled or already filtered water, I'm not sure. It's a small price to pay for my cats to have filtered, fresh water.

My review may be skewed because my product appears to be defective. When assembled, the water pump did not work. I tried to disassemble the water pump and fix it, and was able to arrange it in a particular non-standard way so that the water was able to flow. However, the water flow was quite loud and would only last for about 20-30 minutes until the pump would jam and discontinue flow. If there is a way to obtain a refund or contact the Seller, that would be preferable. On a positive note, the blue LED light was very helpful in lighting up my pet's eating area at night; so the product currently serves as a nightlight, but I would love to learn how to fix it or receive a functioning replacement?

This was wonderful for the one day that it worked. It is the best value for a water fountain pet watering bowl. I suspect that I just received a bad pump, because after only one day it started intermittently working. The nice blue color makes it easy to see in a dark spot. It was very easy to assemble as well. I took one star off only because I received a bad unit. I would give it a shot again.

I bought this as a second fountain - for upstairs - downstairs I have a 360 petswell (i think it is) and had it for over 3 years - not once had to replace the pump - with some cleaning has worked pretty well. This new one - after a couple of months - the pump died! I wouldnt advice getting this fountain.

After trying other models, we gave this one a go and I'm glad we did. It's easy to clean and doesn't hold a ton of water, but still holds enough to last all day for our one adult Lab. It sat too low, but we just decorated a cardboard box with some contact paper and it sits on a little perch that looks like wood. We clean it once per week, including the pump and it's been working great since we bought it several months ago.

My cat luvs her fountain I luv it cuz with the hot weather I worry about her drinking enough water... every time I look she’s drinking or playing ... product is amazing
