Because it's Amazon. I received a bottle of mustard that had expired before I ordered it.

was the question about the price? But for feedback on the product I got it for my mother we are from Michigan where this product is quite well known. She now lives in Arizona and the product not so readily available. She loves it and when I tell you she loves it she called me practically in tears with gratitude. It was money well spent

I remember going to Frisch's Big Boy in Louisville, Ky. and I loved the tartar sauce. I believe the restaurant sells bottles of this so it should be the same thing, but after trying several bottles I've decided I don't like it nearly as much as the tartar sauce they use in the in restaurants. Larry might be right. Maybe it got warm during shipping.
