Amazing cooler!
For the price, this has been an amazing backpack and small day trip cooler. Great insulation, keeps everything cold, and having the magnetic lid so you don't have to keep using the zipper is the reason why I bought this. Considering purchasing the 12 or 18 can cooler as well!

Great cooler!!!! The fit for carry is outstanding for a cooler.
This is very functional for camping and sporting events for the kids.

An exceptional soft cooler
A great "36 can" cooler but keep in mind that many of these soft coolers will advertise in a "can" size but fail to mention that this measurement does not factor in ice. In reality, it's probably closer to 18 cans with ice included.. and of course it will depend on how much ice you place in the cooler. Not really a knock on CORE, just worth noting as this is something that may fool some people who don't pay close enough attention to dimensions. To their credit, they also list the capacity in liters (18.6 Liters) which is a more traditional capacity rating, and that may clear up some of that confusion.Ice retention is excellent. They claim 3 days with an outside temp of 72f which after a little testing of my own, that seems accurate. I filled it almost half full with ice and sat it inside my house which consistently remains roughly 70f during the day and will drop to 65f at night. I would randomly check inside a few times a day just as you may in typical use. On day 4, it was almost all water and I concluded that it passed my test. This isn't a perfect science experiment, I know, but it's something. I didn't add items other than ice. Adding items will change things. The quality of materials and construction seems to be top notch here. The welded seams and waterproof zippers make this boating friendly. Those waterproof zippers are super smooth. A TPU shell. It feels rugged while not really looking the part... if that makes sense.Feature-rich is what comes to mind when I see this thing. The top has a magnetic seal so once you've decided you are staying in place for a while and want easy access to your cooler, this allows you to do so without unzipping the cooler every time you want to grab something while keeping in the cold.A huge "dry zone" pocket which opens up wide making it very accessable on the front. Not only is it a very large pocket, you'll find pouches within that pocket to organize your items and this pocket is also waterproof hence the dry zone. You get stretch pockets on the side, obviously not waterproof, but are the perfect size for an insulated bottle or other smaller items you may want to drop in there that don't need waterproof protection. Attached to the side is also a bottle opener. This is a handy feature that more coolers seem to be providing and many people will be using these coolers for bottles that require an opener so why not provide one for them? You get all the carrying options. The top handle, a shoulder strap for easy hands-free carrying and side straps for pulling out of the car.I own other popular branded coolers that are similar to this one, and this one is nearly perfect as far as what it provides. I own two particular soft coolers, both popular brands, and I am constantly debating which I prefer to take with me. They both offer something the other does not. This CORE cooler, it provides everything these other two coolers provide and now it's combined into one soft cooler so I the debate is settled for now.

High Quality; Impressive Function
This review is for the 36 can/18.6 L cooler. I am very pleased with this soft-sided cooler. It may work as well or better than my basic hard-sided Coleman. I like the size of the cooler, the structure of the cooler (narrow and tall has some advantages that work for me, like the bottom stays colder longer, less of an opening means less warm air enters when opened, and tall beverage bottles can sit upright. The front and side pockets are nice as well. The magnetic lid with zip seal is awesome for keeping things cold and pretty leakproof. The handle placement is well-thought out. And it appears that the construction of his cooler is substantial and materials are durable. You do need to lube the zippers when you get it. They are so very hard to open, so pull hard and then lube them up and maintain that lube as needed for efficiency and longevity. The lube is included as well as a shoulder strap.I ran my own version of an ice retention test. I left the cooler in a room in my house that keeps a steady temperature of 68 F. I placed two 16.9 fl oz bottles of water in it, one frozen and one refrigerated. I did NOT pre-chill the cooler. I opened the cooler once 6 hours in to check on it (30ish seconds) and then again at the 12 hour mark. Pictures of the ice in the frozen bottle demonstrate that this cooler is well-insulated. You can see that after twelve hours, the frozen bottle was still between 1/3 and 1/2 frozen. The unfrozen bottle was chilled.I have not used any high-end soft coolers before, but this performance (albeit in a very controlled manner) seems excellent compared to other soft sided coolers I have used. I am not surprised based on my observations of the cooler's design, materials, and construction.

Nice cooler
This is a nice big cooler that would be easy to use for a short trip or picnic or something like that. The backpack straps seem a little unnecessary… I think if it was full, you would not be able to use it as a backpack, but I guess if you just had a few things in there, it would be easy to wear it.There’s a bottle opener, too large side pockets that would fit water bottles, and a large interior space. The zippers are a little stiff, which makes sense sense it’s brand new. I imagine they will loosen up overtime. The lid has a magnet that will help keep it closed. If you’re looking for this type of a cooler, this should do the trick! My rating scale:* Well below expectations** Below expectations*** Neutral - some good, some bad**** Meets expectations***** Exceeds expectations
