Probably the best drills for masonry - not sure I'd use them for anything else..
Reviewed April 2021:Used these for a number of years, in a number of countries, and they are my preferred drill bit for brick, stone, concrete, etc.I've personally used them on poured concrete, concrete blocks, light blocks, house bricks and cotswold stone. They are very fit for purpose, and providing you don't let them overheat, will keep their points and have a decent shelf life.Although branded as multipurpose, I've not used them on anything metal, and I can't imagine they would be much good. I have used them once or twice to drill wood, they are not wood drills and they do not give a really clean cut, but in a 'first fit' situation, where its just needed to get a hole drilled, they do the job.I have used them to drill plasterboard/drywall and they are fine, but the the trick is not to push through too hard, especially if the walls have not been skimmed with plaster. (Unskimmed, I prefer to use a regular wood drill to be honest).Think I've reviewed these before, they are my preferred bit for any kind of masonry drilling, they may be a touch more expensive, but worth it.

Best drills bits- Bosch Blue
I wont buy any other masonry drill bits now. I couldn't get through the concrete base to install my new shed- even with new other brand name drill bits. I thought my old Bosch green hammer drill which I have had for over 30 years wasn't powerful enough and used these as a last resort. Boy was I wrong! These bits are much sharper than others which I could see straight away, and went through the concrete with no problem. These saved my trusty old drill which I thought I would have to get rid of!

Excellent for ceramic tiles.
I’ve got a set of these Bosch drill bits and they really are good. I got their slightly cheaper ones a while back and they’re nowhere near as good. These were the only drill bits that carried in going through the tiling when I drilled it. I did 16 holes and they did nit seem any more blunt when done than when I started. Nothing else seemed to touch them-even diamond tile bits. BTW did not crack a single tile. Good drill bits that’s why. If you can afford the bit extra- go fir it -they really are excellent.

Brilliant drill for the price
I salavaged a stair rail when clearing my late aunt's house with the intention of putting it up in my elderly parent's home to help them get up the stairs. I bought two of these drills as I didn't want to trust the collection of tired masonary bits I own. Twelve holes into a wall that has had goodness knows what's gone on behind the plaster in the last eighty years. I used an old mains non-hammer drill, as I didn't think my cordless would be up to the job. It only took one of the drills to do the job in no time and its still sharp. I've now got two 8mm masonary bits I reckon will last for the rest of my life. Fantasic product.

I think this is the best multipurpose drill bit money can buy
I have been using them probably ten years or more and best multipurpose drill bit, it has a welded tungsten carbide tip and it is prone to high temp. Do not use hammer action when you are drilling because welded TC bit dislodge due to vibration . Also adjust your drill speed according to material you are drilling . When I bought them price was £1.50 something for 5.5mm but prices changes dsy by day .

The best bits on the market!
These are quite possibly the best bits to ever come on the market....and my new best friend, I now have them in all sizes and they get through everything and anything. I'm in the trade and have now spread the word. Discovered them while laying old reclaimed boards onto a 300 year old tiled floor which had been defeating all other bits.......these went through the boards and tiles like butter. Have since used them on most other materials to great success.

Multi material bit, good quality.
Good versatile bit. Drilling through a radiator bracket through plaster and into broke with a single bit was great. Shank is almost as wide as the cutting bit so keeping the hole straight is easy.
